I have to agree with you, but I will say that the guys at Danbury Porsche were pretty good and did take the effort to work with me on the price of my C2S. I've never had a dealership go through the effort they did to earn my business. That is more than I can say for most of the dealers I spoke with during my search.

^^^^ Good to hear. Of course you can't just lump everyone together with a swooping statement, but "on average" we know what to expect from some of these areas of the country. Looking at used 991's for over 2 years, I rarely have seen ones worth posting out of these regions. Just an observation!

Looks reasonable price-wise: no carfax though, suspicious.

This one looks pretty reasonable to me. 2015 Carrera 4 manual transmission, 20% off sticker price at $100k. Warranty was punched on 4/24/2015, but still being sold as "new." Should really see if they'll CPO it since it's punched.

No cow in this one, unfortunately for our manual-transmission seeking cow-loving reader.

NOT a deal....way overpriced IMO. This is in my backyard and I know what the market is doing locally. Deal to be had if someone wants to be aggressive and they want to play ball......

I have been actively looking for 2013-2014 991 (base or S) with white exterior (luxor beige preferred but standard black is acceptable). Missed a couple chances to grasp (was late by half a day). It appears that the used market for 991 certified is quite hot. Norcal here.

Good catch
I called about it, it's sale pending! Maybe someone from the forum saw it! He said it was super clean. It's tough to sell a 911 out of the KCMO area, the local dealer mostly does SUV's, not really much of a 911 group there. As others have related in the thread; try and be patient, get a car from somewhere in the states that doesn't have a booming economy and people walking around with more money than they can possibly spend. Midwest, parts of Texas have competitively priced cars, as does Florida. Steer clear of NYC-CT, NorCal, Oregon, Seattle; too much money in these areas; basically, if the housing prices are insane in the region you are looking to buy a car, you can figure the car is going to expensive too.

Default Need advice

Thoughts on this - http://dorallincoln.com/Miami/For-Sa...-Car/38307007/

I really want a yellow with manual transmission. Very hard to find. I'd want a CPO but beggars can't be choosers. This seems to have all the options I looking for. How scared should I be of non-CPO? Thoughts on price?

Sharp looking Carrera 4 manual. Nicely optioned!! Price is nice too.

You want an AWD base model? Just making sure you know exactly what it is.

No CPO isn't the end of the world at the right price. I'm a fan of them, but these cars have been VERY reliable.

Yep I'm aware that the 4 is AWD. I live in Cleveland and am considering picking up a 991 as a DD. I currently have a 16' BMW M235xi and an 01' 996 C4 Cab. Plan is to go down to one sweet 991!

$40K off sticker with 6K miles?? Is it that bad?

I'd try and shave off another $3-5K.

Yellow is a tough sell, so they may be open to dealing. Overall, not many manual base 4's, and optioned like this one.

Sport Chrono, PSE, 18 ways, Bose, and manual. Not common, plus on a C4. I like it.
