I test drove that car with Matt and worked briefly with Chris Bell on the white new 2016 Cayman GTS they have in the showroom. Chris was actually really great to work with and was giving me 8% off the GTS right off the bat; sadly, it was still just a little too out of my budgeted price range.
Thanks for the information!! PM sent!!!

Boy, we have HFS brothers in every corner on the country here. Quite the network we have.

On the white 2014 with 31k miles - Just for comparison, 3 weeks ago I bought a 2015 C2S heavily loaded, manual transmission, MSRP $124.2k, with 3000 miles and CPO warranty thru 3/2021 for $88.9k. It has every option I wanted, including black leather interior, sport Chrono, sport exhaust, PDLS, PASM, Nav, Bose, parking sensors, sport design steering wheel, red seat belts, black wheels, black glass sunroof, 14 way power sport seats w memory, premium package plus. And it's one of my favorite two colors. I hunted for 4 months over a 1500 mile radius b4 buying this one. If I were u and liked this 2014 with 31k miles, I would try to get a better price on it.

I've seen this happen multiple times at my current local dealer (Porsche of San Diego) since I started following HFS several months ago. Cars will sit for 30+ days and then get raised by a good $5K.

Another thing I have noticed is where a dealer will lower the price by some totally lame amount - say, $10 - so that the listing will then be tagged as "Recently Reduced".

And then there's my old local dealer - The Porsche Exchange of Highland Park IL - whose prices are just crazy to begin with.

Chicagoland. Napleton. SA was Kerry Terlep. It was very pleasant dealingwith them. Maybe they had too many used 991's at the time. They had 3 or 4 red ones, so that may have been a factor. Last time I looked, they had a nice Basalt Black Metallic PDK 991 C4S with Aerokit that I liked too.

thats a very nice deal indeed... congrats!

i knew for myself there were certain things i did not want to compromise on - it had to be a coupe, silver or agate, black interior, manual. carrera S or sport techno wheels, NO glass roof. i wouldve liked to have the PSE but man the car sounds very good as is, esp in sports mode! i figured too if i wanted to add exhaust i could do that later. i was not afraid of the miles so i went with a high miles car and kept the money.

i bought a 12 991S last week so im done with my search. my specs are

msrp 114,450, 44k miles, CPO till 7/18, agate, 7spMT, burmester, park assist f/r, full leather, 14way power sport seats, prem package, light design, sunroof, elec folding mirrors, multi-funct steering wheel, power steering plus, clear bra (full front, quarters and mirrors) and k40. car sold and serviced by the selling dealer.

i could care less about burmester but its nice to have. clear bra and k40 VERY VERY NICE to have. i felt i didnt have to pay extra for that.

also seriously considered this one at Leith with PSE but its in NC and i wanted to trade my car in... too many moving parts.

http://www.leithporsche.com/used-Ral...AB2A93DS122515

they had it marked down to 69,991 last week of june but when i asked about the condition, i was told there is a chip on pass side door. after viewing the video he sent, and looking at this gob of touch up paint, i wasnt confident i was gonna be completely happy so i wasnt gonna drive 8hrs not being sure i wanted the car. they now have it jacked to 76,991... i think they do it so they have room to drop. kinda insulting but hey its their car.

i posted the white 991s here because i thot it was a good deal and i wanted to play the HFS game. if anyone benefits from the info, mo betta.

They can CPO as long as no structural damage and no more than 2 body panels painted.
