All the best deals i've noticed have been for PDK cars. Have manuals been retaining their value better?
Probably due to it's limited production, those who wants manual will wait and pay more for one b/c it's harder to find. A MT Ferrari F430 is asking over $50K more than an F1, not saying that the 991.1 is asking that much but I would definitely pay a few grand more for a manual with all the options I want. The r171 Mercedes SLK's come with MT as standard but only 3-4% came to the states like that, most people pay the $2,500 for an auto so when a MT SLK is for sale, it usually sells really quick at the asking price. It's all basic economics, supply and demand.
It seems there are just so few manuals vs PDK, slim pickings out there for sure. I appreciate the feedback about Paul Miller, thank you guys. Does anyone have a contact at Porsche of Conshohocken? Looking to visit them this coming weekend.
I worked with Matt Stuttzman for CPO and Chris Bell for new.. Which car are you looking at in Conshi? I drove the Agate Gray 991.1 C4 7mt they have for sale. Interior was spotless but the exterior was a little too rough for me, personally. I test drove that car with Matt and worked briefly with Chris Bell on the white new 2016 Cayman GTS they have in the showroom. Chris was actually really great to work with and was giving me 8% off the GTS right off the bat; sadly, it was still just a little too out of my budgeted price range.
^^^ 32K is pretty high mileage for just $40K off. Almost all times we see CPO and 5K-12K mile cars for that $ off MSRP.
What's with those wheels?? Someone grab a can of Krylon Flat Black spray paint? I could puke
Car looks filthy and beat too. Plus over rev's that don't qualify for CPO? A HARD sell at that price IMO.
the car was actually very clean when i saw it in person. pics are weird because the wheels look like theyre flat black, almost grey but its actually gloss black. i dont quite know how to factor in the stage 4 overrev... i realize it aint good but if it happened for 2 secs is there a real concern?
this car has PSE!!!
i bought a 2012 991S, manual, in agate grey. my search in the last 6mos was exclusive to manual 991S so i feel confident in saying this car is well priced. i have not seen anything close for 2014 manual. most non P dealers are mid 70's, nearly all P dealers are at >80k and virtually no PSE!!! i noticed tons more PDK and cab deals but i was not getting a PDK nor a cab so it was a moot point.
i would like to see a 2014 CPO 991S manual coupe with
i would like to see a 2014 CPO 991S manual coupe with less than 20k miles for $77k.... i could be wrong but i havent seen it on any of the big 3 used car sites.
Looked at and drove this car today... Extremely nice condition, I could spot no flaws inside or out, looked and drove like new. Alas they have bumped their asking price to $78,628 so the price is moving in the wrong direction. At least $5K overpriced for a 2012 in my opinion, even with CPO.

Posted this one earlier in the thread, I think the price before was $135k or so, looks like it's been dropped to $129.9k. Someone offer this guy $125k and take it! Sick color and build if you love the leather options! Burmester! $70k off MSRP for a 14 TTS, $198k MSRP.

Thanks for the report!
They increased the price since I posted it?? They must follow this thread and liked the endorsement.

Porsche dealers are the only brand I've ever seen that posts prices and then raises them. Maybe this happens in the exotic market too, I dunno, but it seems strange. One car I looked at had the price raised $15k after it sat for 4 months.

When I was looking they did that on two different cars. Posted car and price on site. Call them. "Car no longer avail". Go there. Car is there (and back up on site) for 10-15k$ more!!!!
They do get nice cars though. But, their marketing strategy stinks.
