How does this price strike you? Seems decent to me given the build.
The CPO is the extended warranty. No, cannot pay for it unless car is sold through the dealer.

MSRP is a generous $139K. No CarFax history though. Original owner?? Call and get details.

I think if you could snag this for $75K, would be a very good deal.

Its a lot harder to sell these cars privately and, if you are in a position to do it, you can get a very good deal. You will sacrifice the CPO though and some just won't buy a car that isn't CPO'd. I went back and forth on this and ended up buying privately and putting a 3rd party warranty on my car through Fidelity. I figured the deal I got easily paid for the warranty. Given the reliability of the 991, I decided I was ok not going with a car that wasn't CPO. Don't get me wrong, if I could have gotten the same deal on comparable CPO car from a dealer I would have jumped on it! Time will tell if it was the right call. So far so good!

Good luck.

It does transfer on a private sale, as long as it had a CPO in the first place. You can only buy a Porsche from a P car dealer to have them certify under the CPO program.

You'll be fine. Odds are very much on your side. The 991.1 has been a VERY solid and reliable car. I can't say I've heard of many serious issues. This is being on a forum with people from all over the US and world. If anything does fail, it's usually been early on in the warranty period.

Being out of warranty wouldn't worry me too much. Any of the little service campaigns have been taken care of at that point too.

That was my thinking when I bought a non-CPO used 991 with two years left on the factory warranty - and didn't buy a 3rd party extended warranty. The warranty took care of a few minor things, mostly in the first six months I owned it (COV problems with the heater and the PSE and an engine exhaust fan that failed). I have had no problems or issues in the last 12-18 months. The four year service for me comes up in June!

The last day of factory warranty coverage for my car is today...

Can someone explain why some PDKs have the buttons in the steering wheel, and some have the legit paddles?

Also, can you convert to the paddle steering wheel?

One is the multifunction wheel, and the second one is the sport steering wheel. Two options you could pick from.

Yes, you can swap out. About $1,500 parts and labor.

Those were my thoughts...thanks to the wealth of info on the forums and this thread. Happy with my decision. I seriously considered going without the 3rd party but, in the end, I figured at $600/year it was worth some additional peace of mind.

My factory warranty was up last week... so far so good!

Just make sure the only smoke coming from the rear of the car are your tires burning the pavement.

Nice looking GTS with Aerokit!
Just curious about the Aerokit installation. If a dealer installed it would they leave the spoiler button intact? Maybe just the lighting, but the color of it also looks off in the last picture.

New button consoles can be ordered for deleting buttons (like spoiler), or adding (like PSE).
