My 911 Carrera S Cab arrived today from Little Rock, Arkansas. Other than the dirt from the enclosed transport (SMH) the car is in pristine condition. I remember two weeks ago STG posted the car at nearly $60k off MSRP with only 5996 miles. Based on my experience reading this board I wasted no time in sending an email and calling the dealership to make a deposit and do a PPI. Everything was great and now I have my first P Car. I came from an M5 and now having a coupe will be a blast. I can't thank STG and HFS enough to allow me to get a highly optioned car at the fraction of the price. You rock!
$73K CAB @ Parker Lexus looks like a winner!! $60K off MSRP. Who cares about the CPO if it has a good history. I didn't see a CarFax.
Here she is!
Joseesq, congrats!! Wise and smart choice. Glad it all worked out
My pleasure in helping along with all the other "critical eyes" here. You acted on a great buy and thanks for trusting our experience and knowledge. Arkansas to California! Many happy driving miles
Please let us know your impressions after you spend some time with the new cab. Thanks for the follow up too.
Showing $119,99 as the price. Only $20K over the carmax GTS
Your right, prestige always seems to have top-of-market pricing. They are local to me, so if somebody was interested and wanted eyes on the car before a PPI, I'd be happy to stop by and take a look. Though I imagine at $120K, it might not exactly be a HFS.
Finally found a nice near san francisco.

Fatih,
You just bought this in February of this year! Why is it gone already and now you're looking for a GTS?? This was such a great build.
Who did you sell it to? Where did you have it listed? Also .... Why did you decide to sell so quick?
Quick question. For $2k should I get the 5 year/60k mile extended warranty from Fidelity?

I personally have little experience with Fidelity. Maybe someone can chime in?
I don't think these warranties cover some of the small stuff that comes up anyway correct?
I personally would pass on dishing out $2K, and budget that money for any out of pocket fixes. These cars have been very solid and I think there is little risk not having coverage.
Also, depends on how many miles you plan on driving? If you plan on at least 10K a year then I'd consider it a little bit more. A weekend/fun car with 5K and under? Probably not.
Plus your car still has 1yr factory left right? Enough time to get all those small factory fixes done at no cost.

The only extended warranty I would buy is Carmax because it covers almost everything and with no hassle. I'd look carefully into what Fidelity covers.
Personally, I wouldn't get the warranty. The 991 has proven reliable as STG and many others have mentioned in this thread.
I've only had one car that I actually needed a warranty for (my S class). But if you look at the cars you own and the total of what you paid for the warranties vs. what they paid out, you almost always end up negative. Better to put some money off to the side for any potential repairs.
I bought an extended warranty on my Z06 but that was only because it was guaranteed peace of mind for the valve issues the LS7 has. The 991 has no such big issue.
