I was just looking at this one over lunch. I think STG first posted it a week or two ago. I'm pretty sure the VW dealer just dropped the price from $74 to $71.
Could be. Losing track with some of these cars. By not actively considering them, unless they stand out, I usually don't retain. Old age or maxed out in the memory dept??
Yes, when asked they disclosed it had water damage. I didn't get that far in the conversation. I'm 99.9% sure it's listed as salvage in the CarFax. Would be nice to see it.
Look at the one I posted above it, or the Red one like 4-6 posts before that. 6K and 11K miles for a few grand more. Probably in better condition than a 31K mile car.
The one you posted is a $113K build. On par with the other two.
Congrats STG! Although no one seemed to notice - you made post #4000 on Tuesday the 14th.
Thems a lot of bits that's flowed over this interweb thingy. And judging by the continuing posts the hits just keep on coming!
Thanks beaverlake! You've been with us since day one and post #4 A long way to post #4000! and over 500,000 views. Sill hard to believe.
I miss some of the old crew. A lot of guys have come, gone, and still pop in once in a while. Lots of info here and plenty of happy 991 owners. I guess we keep rolling here

I'm still here and still watching, and still learning every day. But also enjoying driving my 991 nearly every day too, and very appreciative of the information and guidance in selecting and buying it. Thanks STG!
