C4S, manual, Aerokit Cup, SC, PSE. That would be a lot of Rennlister's dream build right there. Not the best price, but it was recently listed, worth watching for sure
This car has been on the lot for a couple months - I drove it back in April (I think). It's very nice and drove quite well, but I thought it was about $10k more that what it should be.

Quoting STG above: "Picture make me cringe so much?? Do I have a problem? "
After negotiating price and before you sign anything/exchange $$$, tell the seller to have the license plate holes filled and properly prep & paint the FBC. (This will also take care of the acculmalated chip being they need to paint the entire FBC to do it right). If seller does not want to have this done for you, ask for a final discount of $ 600-700 and have a competent body shop do it. Paint will need some time to cure/gas out, then have it wrapped. Worked for me. T
Great thread here! I'm a long time BMW M guy and was looking for a change of pace from my current M6 to go with my wife's X5M. I found a 2014 sapphire blue C2S with PDK, S-PASM, PDCC, SC, PSE, park assist, dimming mirrors, and heated seats with satin wheels. We went and drove it last weekend and I'm picking it up Saturday. I really liked the performance focused build as we'll put maybe 3-5k on this car a year (and I feel we got a great deal). This thread is helpful to get some data points beyond just searching the Porsche NA site so thanks for the input!
^^^ CFM3, very nice!! Great build. Thanks for sharing
You find it locally?
It wasn't very local so it took a bit of searching, which I enjoy doing with multiple brands actually. Probably two or three hours away, but right down the street from family so a great excuse for a trip.

Nice looking car! Do you mind sharing your final price?
So I just completed a PPI on a 991 I was interested in.... 2012 C2S at a good price, all the right options, good colors, low mileage, clean carfax, etc. Of course this thread was incredibly helpful in helping me get at least this far...
Mechanically, virtually no issues and they did a very extensive inspection. Cosmetically, almost perfect. Paint is great, no signs of any paintwork, virtually no wear on the interior, two tiny stone chips and a tiny scratch. Really, it was looking like a great car and soooo close, but for one very unexpected potential deal-breaker. A cosmetic flaw that it turns out will be very pricey to fix.
The door panels are warping on the top... After seeing the pictures the shop took and reading a bit more on the forums, it turns out this happened on more than a few on early 991's and 981's. Bad glue or something, and they were typically repaired under warranty. But this car is now out of warranty, and the panels are quite expensive! Not even full leather, they are ~$3,700 for the pair of left/right door panels, plus a couple of hours labor to replace them. Ouch! I can't imagine Porsche would good-will the repair either.
Obviously the thing to do is to ask the seller (a dealer) to reduce the price by at least a few thousand, but I think there is little chance they will do that and the deal might fall apart.
If it wasn't a super-low mileage late model car, I might just live with the flaw, but on an otherwise pristine 991, I don't think I can live with not replacing the panels.
Thoughts?
Here's the warped panels... Passenger side slightly worse than drivers.
PS: It is a long distance purchase, so i had to rely on pictures and a salesman's walk-around description before deciding to go foward with the PPI, and i was not aware of this issue prior to the PPI. One of the many hassles of trying to buy non-local cars!
