If you are looking for a manual C2S this looks to be HFS if it isn't already sold.

I’ve seen a bunch of listings from this dealer and it seems like one of those “there’s always a story” places.

A" bit" high? 7.25 years old and 82% of msrp. This is HFS not "every outrageously-priced 991 for sale".

I watched this one closely on BaT. Bid to $59k last month RNM. Appears to be a well-maintained/documented car.

Pricing aside, I’d be worried about buying a car that old with that few miles. Who knows how long it has sat around without being driven? (Referring to the Bert Smith one with 3,243 miles)

agreed but it does have CPO so you get 2 years of unlimited mileage warranty on it.

I was doing some window shopping for the HFS thread and found a couple of decent buys:

2017 C4S with 17K miles for $96K

Have you ever dealt with them or know anyone that has (whether positive or negative)? Was also checking out the non-S 991 on their site:

Four(!) accidents in the last six years according to carfax, including one airbag deployment. Given that history, would make a good track car candidate, but still looks good in the pics (and a low $56k price). Also shown with Magnus Walker Urban Outlaw wheels, in case anyone's curious to see those on a 991:

I would not feel safe on the street let alone a track. This thing has been bent like a paperclip.

Any thoughts on this car? At a dealer but not CPO, probably because of the accident history. It is a base Carrera but has some desirables like sport chrono. $104,360 invoice.
It seems like at least 50% of the cars I see on Autotrader (dealer or not) have accident history. Maybe that is because I always search for < $65k price but still shocking to me.

That price seems high for a car with an accident. Unless prices have gone up. For your price range (high end of it) you should be able to get a C2S with comparable miles and no accidents.

My gut says prices are up 5 to 10% for 991.1 in the last 6 months. I remember looking back in March before I sold my Ferrari and I saw lots of great cars under $65k. Now that I sold the Ferrari and am looking, literally half the cars I see on Autotrader have accident history. I realize Carfax captures even very small accidents these days so sometimes it is hard to know the severity. I do appreciate that Carfax usually tells you if accident is under $1,000 (which could be a low-speed shopping cart dent) or if an airbag deployed.

You are correct. I am not looking for a new 911 but I am looking for a new Harley and I am having a hard time finding what I want so I will not sell my current bike until I buy a replacement, which I suggest 911 buyers do as well. It would suck to have nothing!

I was in talks with a private seller for a very nicely specced and clean 14' C2S, I didnt reach him fast enough because he was in a bind and traded it in the following weekend. He put me in touch with the dealer who was now asking $76k for the car as a CPO! He has it listed for $60 or BO! Crazy times indeed but I think cars might finally be sitting longer and coming down a bit.

I ended up finally finding one which should be making its way to me soon so I'll share deals for others:

C2:

https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...0170/overview/

C2S:

C4S:
https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...ckType=listing

https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...2221/overview/

I really like the 4S in particular, seems very clean and local 2 owner car.
