Update on this car. Many cosmetic concerns. Paint doesn't look good either. Not enthusiast maintained.

Their next door Porsche dealership won't CPO either. Thanks to Rennlister Gbree who laid eyes on this and did better than a PPI guy!

Pics the dealer doesn't show in the ad!

Call Nick! He knows what we do here and will take good care of you.
IMHO Prices are a little bit high.
Both of them are over 4 years old.
You can find 13s for these prices or for low 80`s you can find 14s.
Prices should be at low 70s.

$40K and $50K off MSRP with those miles and CPO's not good??? Let's be realistic here. Negotiate a bit off, and you're in business.

Hey, if you see any hotter deals please post some.

Then again those are some fantastic negotiating points to take a chunk out of that asking price. You can be sure that trade was very painful.

Cosmetics can be repaired - those wheels would come up like new in the right hands.

With 40K miles, its a car for someone who wants to drive it all day and doesn't care about the miles.

With 7 months of warranty left on it, not too much to worry about as long as the PPI is fine.

I say this is an awesome deal for someone to negotiate......that's a hell of a build!

I don't mean they are not good but again in my opinion they are not a Hot for sale.
Mileage is important of course but the model year is also important too.
Both of them is 4 years 4 months old.

Which one do you prefer 2012 5K miles or 2014 10K miles(both have same MSRP ,same condition with same price)? I definitely go with 14.

Previously we saw lots of 2014s with more than 40K off which I think they were (real) Hot for sale.

I will share if I find a Hot Deal.

Let me go ask that guy who started this Hot for Sale business and get his take on it! Thanks for the message.

To your question, I'd take the 2012.5 with lower miles. I'm a mileage freak. Same 991.1 cars.

10K is also low.
Same car, less warranty, older parts, older tires.
with CPO One of them have at most 2 years more warranty the other one have 4 years of warranty.

When you try to sell after 2 years, one of them will not have anymore warranty left and the other one will have 2 more years.
These add value to the car.

If you like it, you could always wire him the money that day, assuming he's going to ship it to you anyway, it would obviously be difficult if you're driving home the same day though.

Too bad there aren't more enthusiast owned private party cars for sale around here, those tend to be a much better bet than a lot of these dealer cars. I whiffed on three cars after getting the details of the cosmetics, all three didn't check out well. There are some gems, but beware of the cheap price, that's what I found. After being around here for a long time, I am putting a lot more faith into either a CPO car (Still not guaranteed clean) for a private party car listed for sale here. Those are often the best kept cars, and can often be vouched for by a fellow member

Man, that curb rash, road rash, and scratches on the red car make the warped door panels on the Kia Porsche I PPI'ed look like a minor annoyance!

Problem with many buyers, myself included, is we like nearly perfect cars regardless of the age or mileage, and they are not easy to find.

And there are even more road scars and concerns. Those are the highlights.

So true on wanting to find nice cars! I'm such a perfectionist with cars, that my standards are hard to meet. That's why I've always been into finding/listing lower mileage cars. Lessens the time they had to get beat up on average. Even then, in the hands of a bad owner, they can get trashed in no time.

By the way, the listings are SLIM pickings. If you find a car you really like, try and close the deal and enjoy for the summer!
STG,

Punched front aside, what's good vs. hot here? $136.5 MSRP. Asking $120. GTS manual CPO with 1200 miles.

Thanks in advance.
