Here's a local car I was considering taking a closer look at, but don't think the Racing Yellow is going to work me... If you like racing yellow, it seems like a great car at a very decent price.
2012.5 C2S, 25,000 miles, $68,750 Ask, $123K original sticker, 15 months CPO remaining

One owner car, originally leased, purchased by leasee at end of lease with additional CPO coverage through 12/17. Since it's a private sale, the CPO coverage transfers. Full local dealer service. Was on consignment at the local P-car dealer for a while at $76,700 with no sale.

Clean carfax, though it shows as a two-owner car from when the title was transferred from Porsche Financial Services to owner at end of lease. Essentially one owner though.

Very nicely optioned with PDK, full leather, SPASM, PDCC, Sport Chrono, Sport Exhaust, Sport Design steering wheel with paddles, 18-way sport seats, etc.

A couple of years ago we ordered two cars, a Cayman S and a Panamera S e Hybrid. I passed on leather interior because it seemed foo-foo, I was primarily focused on anything that was directly related to the driving experience. My wife, on the other hand went for it. After taking delivery of both cars, I regretted not going for full leather interior. It does look substantially nicer.

how important is Sport Chrono if it's a Manual?

My first 991S didn't have leather (leather seats only), second 991S had full leather. Looks MUCH nicer on the inside, a very pleasant cockpit (especially with CF trim). But if forced to choose between performance options and full leather...I could understand sacrificing the leather...

To get auto-blip on manuals, you need Sport Chrono. Some love the option, others don't. If your a gifted heel & toe shifter, it's annoying. If your not, turns you into a pro. Early 991 manual's didn't have it even with SC option.

SC also remaps the stability management a bit, making it somewhat less intrusive than regular sport mode, which in turn less intrusive than regular mode. I doubt you'd notice the difference unless you were on a track, and even then, only if you were really hanging the car out. Finally, it remaps the throttle a bit, but you can work around that fairly easily if you don't like the stock throttle mapping.

No doubt if you are going for a 'performance options only' build you could skip full leather, but many (most?) of these builds have plenty of other comfort/vanity options that don't do squat for performance, yet they skip what I consider to be the most noticeable interior upgrade available. I'd rather have full leather than 18 way seats. I'd rather have full leather than Burmester. I'd rather have full leather than auto-dimming mirrors and parking sensors. etc...

I agree, full leather makes that $100k+ car feeling.

RE: full leather. Agree with the comments that imply it "completes" the car. We wouldn't purchase a 911 without it. I get it that tastes vary, but at this level of expense and the fact that I experience the interior more often than I experience the performance aspects of the car I could not do a 911 without full leather. But that's just me and our car is a DD for me/us.

With a manual transmission, there are only 2 active functions. One is to assist drivers who are unable to blip the throttle whIle braking. The other just makes the throttle and PASM more aggressive for driving hard. If u have PDK, SC enables more aggressive shift points and the ability to "launch" it from a standing start...
