For the above - sounds fishy though...

In any case, I sent the dealership an Autotrader inquiry and got an auto-response about being closed Sunday evening so will see what they say if they get back to me.
If I was a little closer, I would be there Monday morning but it is 6 hours round trip for me so too far without seeing a single picture.

Could you expand on that?
I'm also sort of in the market, and to me it seems like (unless you go up to a 991S) a 981 S/GTS is pretty competitive with a base 991. I really like that you can get a LSD in the Cayman - to get it in the 991 you have to go up to the S which is significantly more money.
It just seems to me that value-for-money the 981 S/GTS should be quite competitive with the 991Carrera.
However I haven't owned either car (this would be my first Porsche) so I'm always looking for other people's perspective

There is the belief (somewhat mistaken I believe) that the 911 is the only true Porsche and the better car . That bieng said there are many out there that feel that the Mid engine Boxster/Cayman is really the more exciting ride and if you are looking for a true sports car you head in the direction of the Cayman/Boxster and if you are looking for a very sporty 4 seater that you head to the 911. I can certainly see how the GT cars and the earlier 911's were more exciting to drive but with the 991 upwards it became a safer car (and hence I believe a less exciting car to drive). Don't get me wrong I love the 911 and each model year brings something new to the table but please don't assume that because it is the brand flagship that it is the better ride or the more exciting ride.
I have had a 2014 Cayman and loved it. I now have 718 Boxster and love it...as I do my 996 and I m now looking for a 997 or 991.1 but every car brings something a little different to the table - you need to keep all options open, drive several and decide for yourself.
I don't think a Kia dealership would outright falsify an ad. Might just be really beat up or maybe it did have an accident that doesn't appear on Carfax. Notice, nobody ever says "accident free". They only say "clean Carfax". Plausible deniability.

Currently have an early 2013 991.1 Carrera S and came across this....I could be tempted but wondering if this is a good deal or not? My old dealership back in WA so know the place well but currently am out of state since 2015 so have no current relationship with the new management/owners but did have my wife's previous 2012 Panamera (base) and my 2014 Cayman S serviced there regularly. Price seems to be a bit high and not too sure I'd want to trade a car to a dealer right now given current economic crisis but interested in exploring options and as said this color along with Graphite Metallic and the two new greens avail on the 992s are calling me so....

Price is a bit high for a c2, even with only 9k miles.
(sorry. Editing ex post facto. I dunno where I got 17k miles. )
Love the color!
The build is otherwise fairly plain for my taste, but I qualify that; each owner has their own preference.
Bottom line: pass.

I don't think it's a pass - great color with manual transmission - super rare. So if you like this car, I don't think the price is way out of line. Can't imagine you could find this combo again anytime soon. Is it HFS - maybe not, but it's not a bad price either.

Anybody know anything about this car at Phil Smith Kia in Florida? Too new for pics.
46k miles, $131k build, clean Carfax, and $39k ask. Seems crazy cheap so I assume there is a story.
5 owners and 4th owner only owned it 1 month and 1k miles.

This looks a good deal for a 2017 Cab no accidents:

I checked their web site on Monday 5/25 and the car wasn't listed. There was never any real photos on the web site; just a stock photo. So I am not sure of the real story.

I am interested in opinions on this car-- if the idea is to buy it and keep it, what should I pay?
What concerns are there-- the car was returned to Porsche who fixed the Top in 2017
