thinking about getting a .2 gts coupe, what could be considered a good deal for a normal build low mileage(sub 10k) car? I've seen a few 17's priced around 110k-120, do you guys know/think close to 100k doable?
Thanks!

I saw a nice one the other day for ~$109k ask...if I can recall where I saw it, I'll try to share it. (Thought it was on PCA.org, but looked and couldn't find it.)

must be 17's right? How nice it is? cpo'd or not? If really nice then that's good news. Meaning 10x is def feasible.
Hi all, long time lurker and recently made it official. I've been in the market for a .2 and have been checking the big sites every other day. This ticks off the main check boxes in what I am looking for but feel its price wise, its not so hot, compared to what I have seen. Thoughts? How do ya'll feel? The CPO is a nice + but feel its priced 5-10k over market.

Looks like price is favorably in line with limited manual transmission market, just based on mileage and build MSRP. What MT cars have you found on market that are better priced?

There are certainly fewer manuals for sale, but that is because the demand for manuals is also much lower... On initial purchase as well as resale. Three pedal cars might command a premium on a 10 year old Ferrari, but IMHO not for a modern Porsche. And comparing your car to similar PDK and manual 991.2 base cars, I would say that the assessment that it is $5K-$10K over is right on.
Your pricing IMHO is full-boat Porsche dealer retail with a fresh CPO, and it's difficult for private sellers to get anywhere near that.
But it is a nice build...Love Agate. Love that it is full leather, an option you rarely see in base cars and makes a huge difference. Personally would also prefer 18-way (or even 4-way) sport plus seats and a sport exhaust.
Also keep in mind that it's almost mid August, 992 deliveries are around the corner, as is fall. As well as a ton of 991.2's starting to come off 2 year leases. This isn't a car that is going to hold value or appreciate short term. I'm sure it would sell quickly at a more appropriate private seller market price.
I’m in the same boat, I’ve been a lurker who has been seriously looking for a manual .2 base or t since i got back from pec Atlanta in May. I have made two offers at dealerships and could not believe I was turned down. One car is still there. I’ve been waiting this long, I am excited to see what pops up in September and October with the 992’s being delivered!

No full leather would be a deal break on regular p car. They just look so much nicer and interior is what you looking at all day long. I learned it on my first one so would like to share the thought.

Was listed earlier this year with just over 19K miles for just over $84K at a Porsche dealer. I'd say would be hard getting that FSBO as mentioned almost 7 months later. The mileage is on the higher side as well.
Haven't been following the .2 prices too close lately, but I'd guess it's a upper $70's car.

....
FWIW I've gotten an offer for within $5k of my asking price. Maybe just luck. But when I look at asking prices on the online markets for manuals, I'm priced low (apples to adjusted apples) and that white 991.2 is on the lower end. Based on dealer ask pricing, PDK and 7MT do not appear to have the same demand/supply ratios.

I saw your car, great spec! I almost reached out actually, but the sunroof for me is a deal breaker I love Agate Grey too!
Really my intent for me coming here and asking the more experienced was to not make an *** out of myself and tossing out offers that may come off the wrong way.

I completely agree, have FL on my current daily M3 and love it. However, this will be a weekend car and its not on the deal breaker list!

Well we said it was $5K-$10K over, so that sounds about in line with previous coments... If you really want to sell, i'd grab that offer. Wholesale on your car is just over $71K, so if you can get $6K more than that as a private seller, consider yourself very lucky.

Three flaws in your valuation analysis:
1) Artificially limiting the comparables you are looking at because you think your car is unique.
2) Comparing it to other unsold cars that have been on the market for a while.
3) Using Porsche dealer offerings with fresh CPO cars as comps vs your private sale, partial CPO car.
You are very welcome to sit on your car as long as you would like... But the reality is that it is worth less than you are asking for it, and will be worth even less in another few months.
tough crowd. in my experience, for Porsche anyways,.. there is a buyer for every spec, and a spec for every buyer,.... tough part is just matching them up (right people in the auction room so-to-speak).
above cars really only a couple thousand apart (market-comments-2-seller-ask). It'll happen. Patience. imo just cuz the newest wizbang outta Weissach is on the cusp, doesn't mean all P buyers are discounting older variants. not everyone is going to like the 992 outta the box, & it may take time to grow. ...having said that, we should all expect some degree of depreciation, and the Fall & Winter are always harder times on pocket books. selling quick just depends on how bad you want "out".
.... long winded way of saying that I still "subscribe" to the conversation here...
