I just don't get people who order specialty colors like this and don't dress the rest of the car around it.
If you want a loud green car, you have to really spec it out aggressively to compliment the color. Black wheels, black targa top, etc. Makes a world of difference and will make that color pop as it should. With all that silver, it manages to make an aggressive color look confused as it mixes with a "Sunday cruiser retiree" vibe.
I disagree... To me, silver wheels and targa bar look fantastic on a rich, intense color and make it pop way more than black ever could. Black looks better on light colors, white, racing yellow, silver etc. I wouldn't touch anything on that car.
I don't mind loud colors. I think racing yellow's generally "loud," and kind of similar in brightness and saturation, and I like Racing Yellow quite a lot. I don't like this. I think I'd go so far as to get it wrapped, if I had to received that car as a gift. I'm sure there's a segment that likes Viper Green, but I suspect it's small.
Only if the real thing. Yellow non PCCB is tasteless and cheap. Who would wNt to be a poseur?
I liked Yellow and got PCCBs; however, if someone wants to paint their any color they like I could care less, and everyone else should feel the same. I almost had mine painted Miami Blue but found a set of take-off PCCBs, but that would probably be ok with most people, but not Yellow or even Red, huh?
The viper targa belonged to Keadog here on Rennlist. Very nice guy from his forum posts and great build. In case you were wondering, the leather to sample interior is black natural leather. He, I believe, traded it on a cab.

Congrats. Beautiful car! Looks great with the silver. The silver accents are "in style" again. Keep as is. Wouldn't mess with a thing. Keep it original.
