Don't hesitate buying any 2012.5 or 2013 991.1

Here is a thread about a basically new car that I consider hot deal: 2019 MT Guards red C2 w/200 miles (CPO'd) that they are asking $85k for: https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1158...o-value-2.html

And here as well: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2019-Porsch...dfd1%7Ciid%3A1

Gotta agree with this. Base car is more than anyone needs, but the sport goodies push it to the next level. I think the word "sport" appears 8 times on my build sheet.

^^^ Concur...

Rather have a 2017 (identical car) with a few more miles with at least a few of my choice options (sport exhaust, sport chrono, 18-way sport + seats, full leather) than a stripper '19 for the same money.

The 2019 above literally has two options: heated seats and sunroof.

Here's an accident free, 1-owner manual 991.1S with sport chrono that seems to be priced aggressively (not my car):

https://www.audichantilly.com/used/P...4cfe8ff80a.htm

Year: 2012
Make: Porsche
Model: 911S
Price: $56,991
Mileage: 53,152
Private or Dealer Listing: Dealer
Location (State): Chantilly VA
Transmission: 7MT
VIN: WP0AB2A99CS121769

Last edited by rubenswm; 09-08-2019 at 01:40 PM. Reason: added VIN

^^^ Wow, yes HFS car! Can't tell what options though, from that ad. Unless I plug the VIN into a decoder.

When Carmax gives you more $$ than a Porsche dealer. Sad reality many times.

cheers

The manual cars have a detent spring that can fail causing the reverse lights not to come on when the car is put in "R". This also will affect auto mirror tilt.

Not a widespread issue, but the only fix is to replace the transmission.

They gave me very good money on a C4S with accident. 10K more than what Porsche offered... They lowballed me to new levels on my 991.2 GTS.. If your car is worth over 6 figures don't even bother.
