The car passed the PPI with flying colors! I’m now a new owner. Headed north to escape the heat in AZ now. Beyond ecstatic, can’t believe I did it! Hope to get some nice shots and start an intro thread soon!

Sorry about the finger!

License plate holes can be repaired. I would not pass on a real nice car because of it.

Agreed. If that is the only issue either get some bumper plugs or get the bumper refinished. Not a big deal if the rest of the car checks out.

Yup the car checked out and passed with flying colors. I ordered the bumper plugs a few days ago so hope that does it for awhile until I plan a front bumper respray. Will post an intro thread soon. Let’s post some more HFS to get some more people into these awesome 991’s!

P.s. I notice that the CGT Jerry Seinfeld’s was driving in his Netflix show also had two bumper plugs

I finally got my ad up for a 2017 991.2 7MT with photos. If mentioning it here is a party foul, please let me know and I'll delete. https://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-...msrp-111k.html

$64.5k for a 2013 Carrera S Platinum Silver Sport Design car pdk with 33k miles. There is a small blemish on the carfax as damage reported, but no accident and I couldn’t tell any obvious paint work or damage. Interior is mint, front bumper has some light scratches under the front lip but everything else looks great.

They also persuaded me to get a Mechanical protection plan warranty for 4 yr /48k by old unity causality co even though I wanted a fidelity, might cancel this one and get that. Unless people have heard of this one.

Great example and good price. Those SD kits and options command a nice premium.

"Damage reported" is such BS on Carfax, usually means something as simple as someone scuffed your bumper and you got it repainted through insurance. I had an incident where a girl tapped my bumper at a parking spot, going maybe .000001 MPH. It was so small, the only "damage" was her pointed metal license plate screw left a tiny indent on the bumper. I was nice enough to let her go through insurance without pestering for a payout, and low and behold it shows up as "damage reported to rear bumper" on Carfax. No accident reported, thankfully, but "damage." Naturally, insurance refuses to pay diminished value because it's "too small" and "not an accident" so "it won't affect value."

Just get info and preferably pictures of what it refers to, and you're good.
