I found my P-car using this, as the dealer hadn't yet put it on Autotrader. 2018 991.2 S (19k miles) with sport package + RAS, CPO, one owner, Agate with RS Spyder wheels. I jumped on it asap, paid $103k. Seemed like a fair price given CPO and one owner.
Same here, found my '17 CPO June 2019 when I was looking; one owner car with 95% of the options I wanted. Flew up to JFK and paid the asking price.

It took me about 9 solid months of daily looking to find my 'right' 991. Had some close calls that I'm glad I backed out on, and happy where I ended up. Purchased early April 2020. Sooo worth it!!! Hang tight!

Even the painted interior has grown on me.

Paid $103k back in October, found it on finder.porsche.com at a dealer less than 2 hours from here while searching on a whim (it helps that there are literally dozens of Porsche dealers here in a 200-ish mile radius to the DC Metro area). Went through some drama with trading in my semi-high mileage 981 Boxster GTS despite not really being in the market to do so (really wish I could have held onto it), but ultimately decided to just do it as the mid-atlantic really isn't an ideal location for a convertible, and this car was pretty much EXACTLY what I was looking for. I felt the price was fair back then, and still seems to hold up.

I've put nearly 1000 miles on it already despite the not-so-great weather and it gets better each time I drive it.

Anyone on the fence, if you find a car you like, just get it. Regrets be damned; although you probably won't have any.

edit- what's with the hate on the sunroof? Personally it was a must-have for me, especially coming from a convertible...
Let me guess - your car was at a dealer in Philly?

Also, I don’t hate sunroofs, I just have never opened them on any of the 911s I’ve owned over the years hence my preference to not have one at all. Different strokes and all that.....I guess my purpose of using the caps was they’re really tough to find. Due to that It was on my list of wants as a “nice to have” but a pleasant surprise to find.

The car market as a whole has been highly atypical in the last several months with most exotic and near-exotic car not depreciating or slightly appreciating. The number of cars listed for sale has dropped ~50%, which has pushed car prices up.

Overall prices for 991.2s have dropped, but this is entirely explained by the behavior of the 2019 model year.

Bemo, I like to keep stock too. Bob, the red doesn't work with yellow but it does with blue? I have no problem with Bemo's classic red "S/GTS" calipers on the yellow car, plus PCCB is an expensive way to change the color, and not needed if not tracking.

I'm not sure what it's worth now, but we had a heck of time time finding the right Targa last year and finally got this one for $149k CPO:

Same here, I originally felt like I should go with manual + no sunroof so I could be a true enthusiast, but then realized I didn't care about what others thought and that I actually wanted PDK and glass roof. I also always tilt the glass regardless of weather or temp outside, I need that fresh air.

Everyone is different. I understand the purist may want sunroof delete, but my spec was MT must have, and glass roof nice to have. So happy that I got the roof too. It looks great, works great, and even brightens the interior.

And completing that trifecta, I had to have a 7MT with no hole in the roof. Have an old open car (does that call my enthusiast card into question?), and wanted the coupe-iest Carrera coupe I could get. Never miss having a sunroof, and actually delight in its absence when inside and outside of the car.

It's great that the 991 offered something for everyone in most variants where the 997 generation didn't. Remember 997.1s with mandatory sunroofs—even in the GT3—and the costly/complex/heavy 993/996/997 Targa concept? And if you wanted a 993/996/997 Turbo with glass overhead, which I will admit I like for other reasons unexplainable in the 991 Turbo? Sorry, no can do in a 993/996/997 Turbo.

Porsche really got the body configurations right with the 991. Cabriolet marked a big improvement, as well. My only real/minor complaint is the small-ish side windows and ultra-thick B-pillars in the coupe.

I do look at your Guards Red Cabriolet with a twinge of envy, however—I happen to dig certain red cars (991.2 wears it well), and have had a lot of epic back-road drives and long-haul road trips in 996/997/991 Cabriolets. A lot of people miss a lot of fun thinking that the coupe is the only way to go.
