Clarification... 'new vehicles'
Just picked up a 2021 G63 at MSRP
Have a 2021 Cayenne GTS arriving in 2 weeks at MSRP as well.

Both brand new in Alberta.

MSRP is a fake number.

Had the chance to get a ‘21 Cayenne GTS at 6% under MSRP in the middle of pandemic last year, but passed. Of course, now they’re impossible to find in general. We stuck with the S instead of GTS when we bought our 958.2, but the TTV8 in the new GTS makes the upgrade worth it. Fantastic sounding truck. Eventually, we’ll upgrade to it once the pandemic prices slow down.

I've been thinking about selling my 991 that I've had for 2 years now and make a stupid profit. Then I drive it. No frickin' way!

It’s a good time to be a seller. One day I may get another Porsche, as my 991.2 was easily the most fun car that I’ve ever driven. But yesterday, when the dealer from whom I purchased it nearly 2 years ago offered me more than I originally paid them for it, it was a no-brainer decision for me to sell it back to them. The way I look at it, I had nearly 2 years of fun for essentially just the cost of routine maintenance. You can’t beat that!

I haven't tracked this whole thread but I went to my local dealer yesterday and the lot was empty-ghost town empty. Had a nice chat with a sales guy and he told me they had 1 991.2 GT3 that would sell for $30K over list with 20K miles on it. He said from release to the end of the next calendar year, they will get 14 992 GT3's that will sell with $120K ADM.

My manual 2013 S has 80k miles. MSRP $130k and I bought it for $90k in 2015. It was a 2 owner car with 5,000 miles. I’ll continue to drive the value out of it. If I owned a 20k garage queen I might consider selling in this market. A 992 would cost my car plus $90k. I don’t see the value in that.

Woah!! That's crazy....and I'm certain they'll get it, just not from me.

My GT3 dreams will have to wait a few more years until this craziness subsides. I watched the GT2RS go to the stratosphere; back down to earth and presumably now into outer-space. For now, the relatively mundane GT3 is right there with it! Scarcity drives insane behaviors.

What will you buy instead? I'm tempted to sell mine but there's nothing I'd rather own. Part of me wants to just get a Range Rover Sport and call it a day but I'm 32 not 62
