I will say though, I’ve been a bit surprised by how many of the Ts for sale at any give time are PDKs with lots of luxury options. That’s not to belittle anyone’s choices. I guess I just though that these would have attracted a more price sensitive buyer (like myself) and the pool of Ts would skew more “manual and low option” as a result.

Thanks again
I remember reading that around 70% of T’s were manufactured with manual, which is a much higher take rate than standard. If there is a higher % of PDK for sale on the market, it’s probably because people with manual aren’t selling their cars.

I also wanted the rear seats so found one with out buckets, and then put 997 GT2 buckets in. Now I have the best of both worlds. The Carbon Buckets are thinner than the stock seats so it actually netted me more legroom for both the driver & rear baby seats

Awesome work. Are the inserts from P1? Did you still remove seat bottoms or backs on the rear seats to accommodate kids seats? TIA

Anyone with a T been wanting a 2020 Spyder? I have a 2020 Spyder in an amazing enthusiast spec(PCCB's, LWB's, 6MT) and been thinking about a Carrera T. If anyone's interested in working out some kind of trade/swap, PM me.

Already sold my 718 Spyder, kept the T. Good luck with the search, you won't regret the switch IMO. 👍

For those that celebrate it, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year, T-Army! Here’s to an open road in 2023.

I’ll treat you to my PCA SIM Racing Livery… and my favorite T-pic and memory from 2022.

This is awesome! If I can’t locate a 991.2 T with my preferred spec, I’ve considered sourcing a set of these for my 997.2 as a way to hold my interest in that car. Then I’d order a 992T and just waiting out the year plus until delivery.

Why did you choose the T over the Spyder?

I’ve been keeping up with the 992T thread and I’ve come to the conclusion…Porsche officially killed the T via options. People are arguing about Ethos of the T, burmester, surround view and the other million+1 options you can now get. The 992T doesn’t have a centric identity anymore. Keep ‘em if you got ‘em! The T is now just a base with a manual transmission with all the options…..except PCCB, Bose, and LWBS muhaha!

As a former 991.2 T owner (ordered new) and a future 992 T owner, I don't see much of a difference except the T package itself. Outside of the differences of the 991.2 and 992 of course. Burmester was an option before. Bose is not available due to shortages. Personally, I wouldn't have picked PCCB or LWBS before and not now. As a matter of fact, my new build is almost exactly the same as my 991.2 was. This thread is full of folks trying to make themselves believe they are right. It's kind of hilarious (and sad).

enjoy your 992…and the thread debating options that neither add nor take away from the car. Sad really, even 992T owners think they are right, sounds like a common problem across all generations.

as long as we all agree, I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the differences when you get in the seat and drive the hell out of the 992T! Personally I have no interest…yet. Test drives and reviews are one thing, but living with it is something entirely different.

Agreed (again). Some of the reviews are kind of biased since they want to be able to review future Porsches I'm guessing. I don't consider myself a great driver. I'm decent and have done a few track days, but that's about it. I think I will be impressed no matter what, but we'll see. The only thing that really ticks me off is the availability and pricing this time around. I'm spending almost 30K more for the same spec. I did get a 9% discount last time around though. Those days are sadly long gone.
