So I guess you never installed or dyno tested the Cargraphic parts?

Yes I did. I dyno tested the catless bypass pipe. I didn't want to run cats on the race track so i went with the catless for the first go-around. The bypass pipes were worth 110lb/ft of torque and 70rwhp at 3K RPM. They turned the car into an absolute monster. I would be willing to provide a set of new 200 cell bypass pipes to anyone that wants the car. I had originally planned to dyno test cats vs. no cats but i think that we can assume that a set of 200 cell cats is worth half of what i saw vs. stock. It got to be too much of an expense of my time and shop labor to keep going back and forth to the dyno. They weren't cutting me any breaks - it was $200 for every :20 minutes i spent on the thing. I would absolutely suggest doing a higher flowing downpipe on this car. It creates a massive amount of torque at lower RPMs by allowing the turbos to spool up faster. Top end HP is relatively the same because you're at the limit of the stock turbos.

Below is the dyno graph i posted a month ago.

Just took step one. Ordered a DSC from BGB. Turn around was super fast. I'll install it Thursday and hit the track on Friday. Next up brake cooling and Cobb.

Slvr993 from New Jersey - you're caller #1 and you've won the free DSC BGB Custom map valued at $500! In all seriousness, if you tell me what the existing balance is on the car as far as a tendency towards understeer or oversteer, I'll map the PASM shocks on your car for free til you're happy!

That's awesome - I will definitely take you up on that. In the meantime I'll give Wray a call later this week to get going on the Cobb order and brake cooling. As always - thanks for the help.

I might of missed it. If so sorry. I was wondering if you had any CHeck engine light issues with the cat less setup. While waiting for my Carrera T Delivery I was researching exhaust setups. (This thread is a bad influence on me) Seems to be a lot options as far as catless, 100 cell and 200 cell cats. I have seen some reports of check engine light issues with 100 cel cats and catless systems. I have also heard some say the o2 sensor extensions worked for them and some that said nothing worked until they went to 200 cell cats. I was wondering what your advice is.

I have no CELs with my catless setup! You won't get any with the components I am running. This car was intended to be a track car tho and doesn't get driven on the street much so that's why the lack of cats; the only reason I drove it home on the road was because I was in a bind and had to get it home from Atlanta. 500 miles without a single CEL. The addition of WAZE to the Apple CarPlay is awesome.

I have wanted the newer style PCM with the Apple Carplay for a while now and it was one of the perks of this new car. After spending 20 minutes with it though, I was ready to throw it out the window. 200 miles in I found that my iPhone cord wasn't all that stellar and switching cords did help some and stop it from disconnecting but I don't like the way the system is conflicted between using the Bluetooth / PCM phone operation when it's in Apple CarPlay mode. Eventually I fired up the Waze and it was easy because it doesn't cause a conflict. So many of us are easily distracted on our phones but even the stock based NAV/entertainment systems on cars are just as distracting and just as deadly so it was nice to just fire up the Waze and relax and focus on the road ahead.

Yes indeed...what are you interested in exactly? Take-off parts? Go-fast bits? A lot of the stuff we use on our club race cars are on this car. With the exception of the multi-link, a lot of the same methodologies apply. The only thing I would do to it would be more front tire and then I could revise my DSC mapping. Right now the DSC is balanced right. We can get you whatever you want for this thing!

Don't mention it - you have been awfully complimentary and I try and take care of folks that support us!

Last 2 Porsche’s I ran at Daytona didn’t do well on the high banks...especially NASCAR 3-4...warning and failure lights ruined each lap and the entire DE. Somewhere around 120-130mph on the banks ..which is easy to do...the car would freak out. So I never went back to Daytona.

Anyway. I’d rather have your car than mine. I can’t have both...lol...would need to sell mine first...not even sure what it’d sell for vs what I owe and all that bs. I remember selling my 2012 gts and all the bs involved with potential buyers from Rennlist.....don’t want to re-live those nightmares again.
