Well folks...the heavy lifting is complete. Sorry for the photo bombardment but I figured everyone would want to see the finished product.

@MDrums - We retrofitted the 991 GT3 Cup / 981 GT4 Clubsport brake ducts up front. In addition, I have a set of 350mm Girodisc rotors coming to the track. With the braided brake lines, Castrol SRF fluid and the Brembo RE10 pads, I plan to see if I can fatigue the brake system in Texas. If it's not enough and it doesn't hold up, I will go to the 997.2 GT3 front brake caliper / 380mm Pro Systems assemblies that come with a bracket that we designed to bolt up to the 991/981 front upright..
As for the rest of the photos, if you guys have questions, let me know.

The 380mm can be executed right now but it requires switching to the 997.2 GT3 6-piston caliper. This is our most popular front big brake upgrade for Caymans and 911s. In conjunction with Pro System Brakes we developed a bracket to adapt this 6-piston caliper to the front 987.2/997.2 and 981/991 upright for folks who want 380mm brakes AND don't like having to remove the caliper for pad changes. We have sold a lot of these. They're on all of our race cars. Pro System Brakes makes the brake package for the entire NASCAR field. This is top of the line stuff that has been tested over and over and over for half a decade on our cars. The photo below is of the kit mounted on a 981 upright but it's the same upright that is on our 991.2 GTS. The 981 GT4 & 991 GT3 have their own upright.

Don't worry my friend! You know me...i'm going to take this thing to the track and beat the snot out of it. Remember that Sebring is one of the hardest places on the braking system; the bumps anger the ABS so that pistons are going berzerk in the calipers. COTA is not easy either...it's bumpy and the long straights lead to heavy brake zones with slower entry corners so this should be a good test. I am confident that if it survives COTA it should be fine for Sebring. The Girodisc 350mm FR/R brakes arrive Friday. I will try it first with the stock brake assemblies and then put those on to see if i can back to back them. I will report back and take lots of video.

COTA will definitely be a good test of the brakes! Hauling down the speed on the back straight definitely tests the limits. Are you doing any additional brake ducting? Or just the standard Porsche air cooling guides?

The 991.2 non-GT cars have the standard deflector on the front track rod but dont have the additional top scoop that the 991 GT3 or 981 GT4 do. So we made brackets to retrofit a 2nd additional duct that scavenges air coming off the backside of the radiator fans like the GT cars have to add extra cooling. Then we added the better brake fluid. I still don't like this master cylinder though. I want the one from the GT4/GT3 so i am going to do that next but i wanted to basically put myself in a situation where i was testing something more closely resembling what you guys have before i departed down a path towards a different brake master cylinder from the factory.

The ducts aren't in that photo but if you scroll up to the pics of the yellow car from yesterday you will see them. This was before the race car came off the lift to get washed.

Also, what benefit would the GT4/GT3 master cylinder provide?
Thanks!
