There's a few things with this so called mod.
First, xirus XM gets deactivated, leaving a fault code during diagnostic.
second, firmware pcm fault code does not get cleared despite mib fix, and attempting to clear on diagnostic tool. It shows it as an active fault.
Any ideas how to clear the firmware fault.

I posted on 718 forum as well, but something to be aware of. I have a 2023 Boxster GTS with the Burmester system. I was able to activate the Navigation and the Map. This has caused my system to not detect DVD discs. Previous to the mod, I was able to play DVD-Audio discs and DTS CD's. Now those discs are not readable. DVD movies are not detected as well. CD's seem to play fine.
It's an annoyance for sure because I have many dvd-audio discs. I still prefer having the factory navigation system over being able to play DVD's, but it still sucks losing the functionality of something that was working prior to this mod. I'm leary about trying to reflash my unit to factory. I definitely don't want to make things worse.

If you ran the backup then the Backup folder will have valuable information... do not copy and paste the contents here, do you have a drop box or another way to share the folder?

Those instructions are correct but then on the other forum you answered with this:
You should not have had to enable NAV, it would be done by the AIO scripting, did you find that it was not enabled? Did you make any other changes?

I recently bought a 2024 Macan base. It comes with AutoPlay but Android Auto is not available. I have see multiple discussions on this and other threads. Has anyone actually done an AA conversion on a 24 Macan? What system or script update is the recommended one?

Hello guys, I just did the update on my GTS and Android auto works great, thank you all for the great info provided.
I have a question, can I remove the SD card now that I'm done?
Or the card now has to stay in all the time?

The card is only used when you run MIB (green text) so you don't need it if you are not longer making changes to the function of the pcm.
