Was patching from SD and now the PCM in is a loop displaying "developer menu (SWDL) is being started". Any ideas how to bring back the PCM or is this a brick condition?

@simaservis1108 did mine today on my '17 991.2and it's great. I need to figure out how to adjust the microphone volume for voice entry. The nice thing is I don't have native pcm voice control, but when you hold the stall down for 2 secs it pulls up google assistant. I'm going to add a carlink wireless adapter now

I have a 991.2 so it has carplay but not android auto. I bought the ottocast 2 in 1 wireless adapter from Amazon. I just plugged it in. Took 30 seconds to hookup. I now have functional wireless android auto! I only played around with it in the garage. Will test drive it later this week. But it seemed to work great in my garage! Waze, phone calls, Spotify all worked great. 👍👍

Can you please confirm. You have an Android Phone, that you paired to this device, plugged into your 991.2 and have working Android Auto functionality on the PCM?

100%. Apple is for sheeps! Samsung Note 10+. Have full AA now. It works through Carplay. But once it's running it's seamless AA.

Make sure your AA has the Wireless box checked in the app

Also need to make sure your phone is not connected to your PCM via Bluetooth

Interesting, so the PCM needs to have Carplay enabled to use the AA dongle?

My car is a 991.2 so it came with CarPlay from the factory installed and ready to go. So I can't tell you what would happen with a PCM that does not have CP. But I'm assuming yes.

Thanks for the reply, the description on Amazon seems to support this requirement as well as the mention of Android 11 and above.

100% confirmed this worked, I have a 2018 991.2 GT3 and a Pixel 6, I'm now able to use Android Auto on the PCM. I'm not impressed by much but this device worked exactly as expected, plugged it in to the car, paired via BT, added it via android auto to my phone and everything just worked. I'm about to buy a 2nd unit for my Macan.
