Somebody correct me if I’m wrong lol...but my understanding was that if you don’t tune your car for race fuel it’s kind of a waste of money...because it allows you to push the timing because there will be less knock...but if it’s tuned to run 91 octane then the timing isn’t pushed, and the car won’t run harder on the higher octane???
race fuel let’s you run the timing more aggressively because it has less knock...but you have to tune a more aggressive profile.
maybe I’m wrong?
Yes I have separate tunes .. This isn't a stock S. (ESMotor ES850 Car) I usually run pump / meth . This would be for my "SEND IT " tune
Ordered the wider "3RS-Style" Skirts from Suncoast, waiting for them to arrive!
And, about to order an Eventuri Intake. Will likely scoop up a Do88 Intercooler Package, along with their Y Pipe and Plenum, and a Kline Inconel shortly too. Just working out some things before I take the big jump.
After that, and my wheels that are getting built, seems the car is pretty much "Finished", unless I feel like upgrading the VTGs, but, not too sure about that.
The LED ones are about $120 and the others are about $70. Do you remember what you paid?
Thanks Cincy! Got my LED Clears vs my non-LED clears and installed them. 18 months after my initial purchase. Why did I wait so long.. I don't like the process as its fiddly but took all of 10 minutes.
