What torque multiplier did you use?

Here she sits at her new home in Durham, NC with the zo6.

Car has 2500 miles and came with the matte black decals. I think they look pretty sweet, trying to decide if I want to black out the whole car or so something two tone with gold.

Decisions decisions...

After looking on here I bought the rs sideskirts and a phone mount, will post up pics later once I install them.

Car also came with a fabspeed exhaust, I have reverted back to stock for now to keep the ride civilized. Previous car in this bay was a jag SVR and I wanted something a little more ... stealthy

Anyway, I have enjoyed looking through these posts and hope to contribute more soon.

I kept the SVR and gave it too the wife after getting the Porsche...she gives no ****s about waking up the neighbors with it 😂😂😂

Funny...I had a lot of cars but never had a Porsche, they just seemed so obvious and ubiquitous that I kinda discounted them...then on a whim I test drove one cause it had a back seat just big enough for my 6 year old...and the Porsche Dealership was right next to the BMW dealership where I was test driving the then new M8 Convertible.

Fell in love after the 1st Launch LoL...but didn’t know how good a purchase I made until I had it for a week and really got to know it...one test drive just can’t do these cars justice.

I’ll be a Porsche guy forever now....you can mod them just as well as you can a Corvette...and it’s a nearly perfect driving machine in every situation.

Takes a sec to get use to a Turbo’d car after an SC car but once you really get what this car is about you won’t miss the SuperCharger push...plus, get one of the tunes, GIAC or COBB and you get a lot more boost and mid-range torque easy peasy.

Armstrong 64-830. 3:1 ratio that i found on EBay new in box for $200. Used with a Snap on 1/2 torque wrench. Went back around with my proto 3/4” torque wrench and everything was in spec.

only mod to the torque multiplier was it needs a longer arm; 1/2 square tubing i had laying around fits in the sleeve. Works super easy.

somebody correct me if I’m wrong, but I think the “RS” sideskirts from Suncoast are not the factory RS Sideskirts, and are a bit wider than the factory skirts.

I think they look better a bit wider.

i could be wrong though, but that’s why I said go the Suncoast route with them...I think it’s not the same part that you get from the dealer???

I like the wide ones as well... 991.2 GT2RS/GT3RS are the wider ones like yours... approximately a straight line from front to rear with no contour or “narrowing” at the waist like the 991.1 GT3RS skirts. I’ll paint and PPF mine to match my black car. Thinking they’ll look pretty.

I don’t doubt getporsche.com is a great resource. I have a little Toyota store here in Idaho and the Porsche MB dealership in Boise as well as their employees are my customers. I’ve had an SL550, three 911s and my daughter drives Cayennes and they’re always very competitive when I need something. When able I try to spread the love and do business with the people that do business with me. 😉

I've been wanting one of these since my last tire change. Thanks for pushing me off the fence ! Perfect tool to leave in the car with a 24" torque wrench 1/2" drive.

Did this a while ago but thought it would be of interest. Zunsport grilles that support ACC on my car. Two tiny screws go into the unpainted garnish around the center radiator. This piece is $130 from any Porsche dealer, so if you ever wanted to return it to stock, all you'd have to do is pull the bumper, which isn't too bad. Feels secure and hasn't had issue in months, even against a hose or light pressure washer. Made in the UK and feels similar in quality to what Porsche does on RS models. Center plate is from licenseplatewrap.com and matches the color and reflectivity of a stock plate. I have a letter from the DMV for LEO in case they ask.

I bought a sodding great 600ft/lb torque wrench - this sounds considerably easier...
