yet another adherent - I like not only the factory ride height but am fine with the ride dynamics too, ie haven't felt tempted by DSC.
Funny you say this. I've been really amazed at the stock ride as well. I'm a die hard DSC fan and more than likely WILL try one eventually, but for now I'm happy.
I have a Ferrari to sell first before I can really start spending for mods on the TTS.
I prefer column paddle shifters to ones attached to the steering wheel
And the Porsches are too small
finally got around to ordering paddle shifter extensions...shopped around, I didn’t trust the ones that simply stick on with double sided tape....found these by AutoTecnic that are two piece and have both the double sided tape and screws...very well made
wasnt too bad, they have the double sided tape plus the screws so the tape held them in place, screws went right in, though you do have to tighten evenly alternating top and bottom screws or it cants around the double sided tape instead of compressing the tape evenly
had a good drive with them now and love em even more, you can reach them from anyplace your hands are on the wheel now
PS4S... obviously not ideal. It was kind of a funny day, clear in the morning, clear in the afternoon, but a snow squall moved through for about an hour and I was heading over a small pass on the way to meet some other guys... It was only about 15 minutes of highway driving, they certainly didn't feel un-drivable but I was also minimizing traction loads on them.
We met up with some other cars later, but this was just before we headed over the pass... Four AWD 911s and an FF. Less prepared where the McLaren 720 & 570 and the ZR1 that showed up a few minutes after this picture was taken!
We went for a drive Sunday to the mountains and the front that came through decided to hang out. It was Rainey and Foggy. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the PS4S's handling in the rain.
Didn't run the car hard and it's been running perfect. However, when I cranked it after we all ate lunch in Helen, GA, I had a code pop up. Still ran fine. 2 other people on FB had the same / similar code pop up Sunday afternoon too. Any chance Porsche pushes these out for a TSB or Recall or something???
Few pics... and of the code. Problem is, until I change to a COBB AP, I don't have a hand held to check and clear the code to see if it comes back.
A few weeks ago I went through the mountains towards AB and hit some standing water at about 80mph or so and found the PS4s tracked admirably, despite the increased and sudden pucker factor.

Boost leak perhaps for the code?
Possible I guess. Dealer is so busy, they said it'd be Dec. before they could check.
I've got a friend that owns a shop and hopefully I can get it to him soon to pull the code and check.
Seems to run strong. It came on after being run very mildly for quite a while prior to sitting for lunch. No boost made hardly at all when light popped on. Weird.
