Cheers,
I just ordered a set off eBay for $20 - I'll let you know if they are decent. Figured for $20 worth a gamble before plunking down $80 for name brand.

Just received the clear side marker lights!!! woo hoo!!!!
Can't put them on because I'm still working out of state but it gives me something to do when I get home in a couple weeks.
It's like Christmas in March!!

Thank you Sir; it has been awhile since I used a setup like this and if memory serves, the last time I did something like this I just sandwiched a bunch of washers between the sensor and the bung...

Yes, that's my thinking - no one seems to have a program, or wants to take the risk with a program, the pull the rear O2s, so mechanical solution it is.

Love what you did with the car. Love those wheels to. I am torn between these and BBS FI-R's.

They seem to come in and out of stock frequently and are sold under several brands. As long as they look like the one in the picture, they are likely fine. Make sure whatever style you get has a locking jam nut so you can position the 90 where you want it. I bought some brass ones a while back that didn't have a jam nut (or room for a jam nut) and the didn't lock down in the correct position.

It's just about what fits well with the given clearances, but I think this style would work as well. More expensive, but still cheap in the grand scheme of things.

They don't have the replaceable inserts, but as I mentioned earlier, the style I use seems to be fine with any of the inserts or no insert at all... Simply moving the sensor out of the exhaust stream is enough.

Thanks Paul; I have to wait for almost three month (apparently) for the exhaust, and I am not sure about clearances, so I may in fact try and find some time this weekend to get in there and do some measuring - I suspect there is more clearance in mine than on your Vette...

That second style might actually be a bit easier to install since the two pieces can be separated and installed separately. ... With the tubular style, you have to remove (or mostly remove) the cat or cat eliminator to be able to spin in the extender.

I am replacing the cast units with 1 7/8" long tubes and 3" cross over pipes - from what I can tell, there appears to be a fair amount of room in there, however, I am thinking I will wait until I have the headers in hand before I buy anything - just to be sure.

I like the little 2 piece unit, it seems very compact.

Yea, we'll see how they work out.
Like has been said, I'm not married to them so if i need more I can always change them again for something like the Nitto R555R2.

Welcome to Stick City , my man. They could be the best all rounder. Let us know about the 75mph cruise noise. Looks like they are already drilled for studs.......killer ice racing.

lmao...

I'll let you know about the noise!
I do anticipate they'll be a little noisy.
If they stick, I might not care!
