I did a bit of work on this when I though (delusionally) that it would sell for $190-$195k with the damage. It has been sold by 3 "reputable" dealers since that accident. Private seller on BAT seemed unaware but brought the issue to everyone's attention after seeing the post about the damage online (refreshing).

This 675LT closed today on BAT, I'm surprised it went this cheap (251k)

it appears to have had an accident and repairs that weren’t reported on carfax.

Aha. Is this the same car referenced in earlier posts? I thought that one went for $256k and had GA plates, but I did notice it was the same color. That's very disappointing if Carfax missed the damage.

5k for BAT fee takes it to 256k, looks like the seller purchased damaged and didn’t know. Car came from ATL MAC dealer no issues and sold from FL non-MAC repaired based on the BAT thread.

CarFax mostly misses the damage in this range of car. Buyers simply pay out of pocket and don’t report to insurance.

How could they not have known? The seller was meticulous in detailing the various concerns that bubbled up during the sale. The addressed it repeatedly in the comments section.

When you read though the thread the current seller didn’t know, a potential buyer ran the vin and found the car sold in FL. He apologized and was doing some research also, and the car was listed at 300k from the dealer he purchased and no way you list a wrecked car for 300k?

I read your post completely wrong. I must have been going too fast. Somehow I thought you were implying that the current BAT buyer was not aware. I agree. The BAT seller had no idea about any damage. In fact, I am not sure he was convinced, even at the end, that it’s the same car.

Sucks, certain cars I will only buy from a dealer …..with that said someone still dropped big coin on a wrecked car. My concern would be the engine as the exhaust was clearly dislodged from the impact. This was not a fender bender.

Looks like they will be able to develop and make more cars……$600 million injection.

even if you pay privately if repaired by a dealer as soon as they order the replacement part it is reported as an accident. I found out the hard way
