Speaking of mclaren.. if you've ever wanted to ride in a mclaren senna GTR with Randy Pobst... bid here:
And if you've ever wanted to ride in a mclaren F1... this is a good link to click on:
100% of proceeds go to Make a Wish Bay Area chapter.
Ideal for people who are going to be in the vicinity of Laguna Seca June 13th.
...also I'll drive you around in a jet-powered car, but I can't talk about that here or it would be off topic...
So to go completely back on topic... if you want to ride in a street legal Porsche 962 around Laguna Seca... then bid here.

Hi everyone, my name is Keaton. I am getting an allocation for a new GT3 so I figured id join this forum. I am excited to try the GT3, I have never owned a Porsche but have always had the itch. My most recent fun toy I picked up a couple weeks ago is my new 765LT in the color "Tokyo Cyan". Ive owned multiple Mclarens and other supercars, and this car is in a completely different league. I want to do a custom color on my GT3 similar to Tokyo Cyan on my 765LT. Got any other "must have" options you guys would recommend on my GT3?

Hi there, my name is Keaton. I am currently in the process of getting an allocation for my first Porsche, a new GT3! I have lots of toys but mainly I have been a Mclaren guy, just picked up my new 765LT about 3 weeks ago. Color is Tokyo Cyan, I was going to see if Porsche can do a custom color similar to Tokyo Cyan for my GT3.
Enjoy, and enjoy the incoming GT3.

Welcome! This color looks awfully close to Porsche "Miami Blue". Didn't think I will ever say it but I wonder if GT3 will be able to up this car

Keaton I recently got to do some track sessions at Laguna Seca in a 765LT, and I was completely blown away. It's utterly fast and nimble like very little else I have driven. I had cameras on it at the owner's request to film him and a buddy in another car for an event we did, and I was able to follow them going completely off-line just to get good camera angles, pretend to pass them then duck in and switch sides while they were at full boogie. It's SO light and has so much grip that you can cheat with it. I would say it feels almost p1 fast but much more nimble.
The only car I was not able to catch all day in it were mclaren Senna's, which just stick so hard in the corners that it's impossible to keep up with.
Otherwise, 765LT is not just crazy fast, but really enjoyable to Drive, so much feedback, so light, great electronics allow you to come out of slower turns with a little slip angle and just rocket away.
765LT SPIDER will be worth Hypercar money if allocations are available.
Enjoy your beautiful 765LT... I simply can't imagine anything more competent and ballistic fast to hustle around a track. I also can't imagine driving it on the road.. but maybe you can tell us how much self-restraint you need for THAT!

Driving the 765LT on the street really is way into the “too much” category. Although it’s very extreme, it’s still very enjoyable though. Just yesterday, I can’t help but laugh when I saw tire marks even in 5th gear WOT.
I am very much a coupe with no sunroof peculiar kind of enthusiast. However, I’d make an exception for the 765LT spider.

I took a leap of faith late last year and picked up a used 570S with 17K miles. No warranty and no Mclaren dealer in my town to get a proper PPI done. I am loving this car and thrilled to have purchased it. I am also driving it more than the GT3. So far, zero issues and pushing 20K miles. There will always be a P car in my stable, but going forward, there will always be a Mclaren as well.

Keaton, sounds like you are getting into Porsche GT world with 992.1 GT3. Congrats! I am venturing away from Porsche GT world with my Abyss Black 765LT.
You are getting a great value package with your 992 GT3; premier product quality, supreme reliability, best in the business gearboxes (either manual, but especially PDK), among best mechanical grip and putting power down to the wheels of any street car, high rpm NA sound and impeccable engine, very good driver connectivity for modern street car culminating in low depreciation. The 765LT offers more driver connectivity and rawness which was what I was after. Great to see McLaren fans on RL!
