Lease offer from Atlanta McLaren dealer:
Although here’s a cheap 600LT at CJ’s Audi dealer in Fresno: https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...0761/overview/
I think you could operate the above car for less than $77,564 + tax, tag, title over 3 years and 7500 miles!

MRSP is $275,680 with residual at $184,705, representing ~67% of MSRP
CJ is asking $204,980 for the car at his Audi dealer (with 6,520 miles) - let’s call it $20k over the projected residual value of the car at Motorcars in Atlanta; not apples to apples because I don’t know the MSRP of the car on CJ’s lot
Edit: so it’s easy to conclude that the residual is probably inflated on the lease: a car with 6,520 miles is worth $205K (or less) today, whereas the lease will have a residual value of $185K on May 31, 2023 with 7,500 miles - good luck! Even with the inflated residual value, the lease is still a bad deal

Issue for me is a number of things based on my personal situation but basically it comes down to TIME and USE. 1) Time to use it - Teenage kids, golf (my #1 hobby), family time vs time to drive it recreationally in the manner that this car excels at i.e track / canyons (it has a narrow application usage). 2) Narrow usage - its loud, low, attracts all kind of attention, not a cruiser, wife doesnt wants to go with me in it (that could be a plus ), I'm not dating models or on Instagram . So while its thrilling/exciting, its time. My business partner is going to take it - he's single (with girlfriend) and has better time and ability to use it. I think I'm looking at some thing to replace it that i can use more often. Dont know what but i like the concept of a manual GT3 or a manual 718 Spyder. Fun tossable, canyons etc., but can drive to work or wherever.

My dream McLaren would be a Sports Series car w/ a normally aspirated V8 of 500 HP w/ a 6 speed trans. Forgoing the turbos and the heavy twin clutch should get the car to under 3000 pounds. And at a price of $150K. Hey one can only dream....
Here's my old 570S.
