I don't really get the whole 911R thing unless you don't like spoilers. I needn't worry about it because all the 918 guys will suck them up in the US.

Except for the fact that it *might* be the final Manual Transmission N/A "GT" 911 that Porsche ever makes, the appeal is minimal for me. I like things with big wings.
(And I have enough manual transmission cars, not to mention the GT4 that I just got last month.)
Still, I'm on the list. And will buy it if I manage to secure an alloc.

I heard RS 4.0 engine as well. I been told that engine can easily squeeze about 5% more HP too. I am not an engine expert though - otherwise I'd work at Weissach
I am confident no RWS though and it won't be that limited since plan is to make around 900-1000 units.

918 VIP's (of which there were 297 originals in the US, possibly a few less now) get first right of refusal at the national level for allocations. Once all their allocations have been handed out (from PCNA, directly to their original 918 selling dealers), the remaining pool is handed out to dealers on a pro-rata basis per the original allocation percentage split (based on whatever the original criteria was).

If they just make 900 to 1000 total most of the US allocation will be taken by the 918 guys.
