either embargo lifted or intern pressed "publish" button too soon

in any case - short story is this is pretty much a GT3RS without wing and with a manual... oh and you also get green labeling on the instruments and stripes

was expecting more out of this car (unless something is missing in google translation)

Bummer. Me, too. It will be fast and fun, but I was expecting a minimalist approach, as was taken with the 987 Spyder.

Some quick facts from the article (forgive any translation errors):

- Has the RS motor
- 500HP
- 1370 kg (50kg less than RS)
- 0-100 in 3.8 seconds
- 190k euros to buy

Some others:
- 323km top speed (not sure why anyone cares about top speeds for cars?)
- has a beautiful manual transmission

That 0-100 time seems very questionable? Maybe because of gearing?

photo looks correct. The figures sound correct.
50 kilos lighter than RS (but not that much lighter)
6 speed manual, no wing
$208,000 MSRP
4.0L and 500 HP

(I'm most excited for the 4.0L engine. Not for the R, because I'm not getting one, but they've now done the research on this 6 manual transmission and a 4.0L engine, which I expect will also be used for the .2 GT3.

So in my mind, this means the .2 GT3 will finally get the 4.0L engine (with both a manual and a PDK-S option)!
Per APs comments last year in California, .2 GT3s will be made in both manual and PDK-S, (now with 4.0L engine) while the .2 RSs will continue to be made PDK-S only, (with an improved 4.0L engine or something else).

Interesting two colored livery, but not much to get excited about. My favorite part is the murdered out cockpit devoid of matte plastic aluminum, and the houndstooth upholstery.

Wonder if that diffuser will fit the GT3 and RS.
