(But it's important to note that the moments are never on the straights.)
Was that the video you used on the driving challenge application?

The most famous RSR in Socal! I wonder what your car will go for at a mecum auction this weekend. Anyone who ever googled "how to Willow Springs" should know this car.

I almost died trying to replicate your corner entry speed at turn 1 at WSIR in a ZR1 few years ago. Your car's lap time is really amazing! Ever since I watched your how to youtube video, I've been dying to get one (not that I can ever replicate your lap time). But the price keeps going up and up from my reach!

There are other problems in the way allocations for limited volume cars are decided.

The ONLY way I could get a 991 GT3 RS for MSRP was to own a 918. Yes, even after purchasing many 911s, turbo 911s, Panameras, and a Carrera GT, if a small-market dealer doesn't get an allocation, there is no car to buy. None.

The 918 VIP program is the ONLY way for me to buy a limited availability Porsche while living in a city like Cincinnati. The car is allocated to me, not the dealer.

Cry me a river.

Congrats to whoever already got an allocation! Tha is a car that I would like to buy as well, a kind of stealth look with a strong N/A engine. Now my hope relies on the 991.2 GT3 coming out with a 4.0 l N/A engine, manual transmission and light weight/wing delete options.
Till then I guess I have to live with my current toys or go for a real purist/light-weight car like the Donkervoort D8GTO
cheers
