28F/29R hot. My mistake was running mpsc2 pressures of 32/34 on the trofeo. Don't do that. Lol

Why 32/34 with SC2? Most of us, including me, seem to be closer to 30/30.

Really? I'm going off of what Michelin recommended for the tires.

After about 3K track miles on various tracks, I'm convinced that 30/30 is good, based on tire wear, grip, and handling (sway bars are both at stock settings, cambers at -2.0).

The Sport Cups on my Carrera S seemed to work pretty well at 32-34 hot, which was the Michelin recommendation, but the Sport Cup 2s feel greasy at those pressures. I'm running 28-29 hot, standard suspension settings except for camber; -2.25 F -2.5 rear. The tires show no sign of sidewall rollover and the grip and balance are good (for autox).

Man, I totally missed that thread. Thanks. I assumed the Michelin reccs were the best, but maybe not. I'll try lower pressures when/if I ever get my hands on mpsc2 again, which doesn't look like anytime soon...

Definitely try the lower pressures, I think you'll find a significant improvement. I notice grip falling off at 32. My cousin was just able to get the F and R SC2 tires in the N0 spec for his 991 GT3 via his dealer and Tire Rack, so looks like Tire Rack recently got another batch.

The look great on the car Joe.

Isn't it such a wonderful looking car just sitting there? I just love staring at it in the flesh. It's wearing those hard track miles well and still looks like new in the pictures...

Thanks, Macca! The car has a few battle scars, but only noticeable when looking very closely. It does still look fantastic!

The same. Caster is set at 9.5 up front.

What's the reasoning for getting monoballs? With this car two ***** are often not enough, so going mono seems counterintuitive
