Possibly, yes, though the hard brake line is 1 of many things attached, and that still wouldn't solve the bracket problem. You have to get under the car, in a tiny space, and remove two super annoying screws holding the bracket in place. Then, moving the caliper to change the pads bends the bracket, so it's a PITA to get back on. I really don;t know how anyone at porsche thought this was acceptable and how the shops aren't complaining (or maybe they are...).

if it's sonoma/TH and < 200 miles on track, you are good to go
if it's LS, you will have close encounter with the entry wall at T2

Thill, maybe 150 miles at most. Will keep a close eye. I could always switch to OEM pads, which have like 10 miles on them. I really really hate changing pads on this car.

Looks thin to me. I wouldn't want to be beating myself up after a mishap due to starting the day with a marginal set of pads.

The problem is that there's no way in hell I'd be able to pull off a pad swap on track in a reasonable amount of time with this car. This is from a guy that timed a full brake change on all 4 corners from start to finish in 20 minutes on other cars.

Ok, what was the entry fee for this session? the last thing I want is to be sitting on the sidelines watching my buddies go round and round. Let's see, track fee 300.00, gas to and fro 100.00 hotel if you need one 100.00. Exactly how much did you pay to play this day and its gone over a couple of brake pads....

Vet, I'm counting on you to be right. Lol.

If I switch to OEM up front, I wonder if I'll screw up the brake bias. Now I'm killing myself to change all 4 corners. I'm going to be testing some new brake pads for RB, but they won't be ready for another 3 weeks and my track day is next Friday.... If only I had open top calipers. Life would be perfect. Lol

I know "they" all tell you to change when the pad thickness is same as the backing plate. This is fine and good advice for the general trackie who rarely - if ever - checks brake pads over the entire event, but I can tell you from experience that you can run them for much longer AS LONG AS you're willing to watch +/- change them like a hawk after each session.
Just FYI....
