Maybe there are the odd advantages to being 205 rather than 157#'s???? 😄

I'm thinking my 6'7", 245 frame should make easy work of those bolts...

Joe, funny photos. One of my breaker bars could double as a diving board.

Great shots Joe.
I don't think I will have the same problem with the CL nut.
The problem I think will be with me fitting in the LWB at 5,11' 220lbs.
My wife has me on strict diet to loose some LBS to fit in seats by April......its not going so well.

LOL, Thanks guys. In retrospect, I should have done some shots with me standing on the bar and sitting on the bar. Next time! FWIW, the breaker bar is sufficient to loosen the bolts. I found that pulling up was easier than pushing down. Thankfully I can generate more force than I weigh.

Peter, I'm lactose intolerate! I can only eat so much cheese! LOL!

Forgot to mention:

FWIW, we did the oil change (Thanks MikeinCA for the great DIY) yesterday after 3 track days, 400 track miles, and 2000 total miles. Oil came out very clean! Watch out when you open the plug for the oil tank. It comes out fast and ended up splashing into the right rear wheel well and got all over everything. They made it difficult to get a 8mm hex wrench into the oil pain drain plugs too for some reason. Mike is right, there's no way to get an actually torque wrench in there. We had to use an allen key since the socket and wrench were too long. Switched to mobil 1 5w-50 (porsche approved) oil since the car is in CA and used primarily at the track.

I can't seem to break 1:58 over the top at Thunderhill. My theoretical best was 1:57.1. It's hard to get my braking zones consistent to set myself up properly for each turn each lap. I think I'm getting overzealous and going in too hot. That being said, I was able to turn out multiple 1:58 laps in one session. You can see the tires would start to give up after lap 6, but then I cooled it off for one lap and was able to hammer down again for another 1:58 before I ran out of gas/got fuel starvation at turn 7.

Sorry, I forgot to bring my rear camera mount, so the sound sucks. Also, my helmet cam froze up so I only have ONE view.

Post a screen shot from race studio with these graphed:
speed
throttle position
brake switch or pressure
lateral gs
Steering angle

Let's take a look! :-)

I'm certainly no expert on Thunderhill (maybe Lar will chime in), but I think you can make up a half second on Turn 2. The racer line I've found worked best in the 991S was braking much later than you are, trail braking slightly, and aiming for the inside first, then letting the car move out and back in again. This allows you to brake much later and use the same steering input. Also, you appear to be over-braking in that corner by 5+ mph (not always, but a couple laps). In general (again just from comparing to my 991S videos), you also seem to be turning in fairly late on a few corners, which may also scrub off some speed. Additionally, several laps you were over-braking at 6, and lifting at 7.

Thanks. It sounds like you're describing the double apex line for turn 2? I've heard of it, but I've never tried it.

As for turn 7, I know I can go flat, but my self preservation/fear instincts keep on kicking in. Give me some more time to get used to the speed.
