My dealer purchased only one saying the bidding prices were ridicules. Like to hear the car has this much demand even for these cars.

I checked--the VINs listed on ebay don't match the 20 sold at auction. The Champion-listed one actually features " This GT3 has a clear title and is not a branded Porsche buyback."

Seems there are many available for sale now. Along with available 2015 allocations. Not sure why anyone would pay over MSRP, but like they say 'there's a sucker born every minute.'

I think many of the 'must have the latest and greatest' crowd have already moved on. Too many other choices right now.

My local dealer is offering a 750 mile car with clean title (not buyback) for 10k over, available now, or a 2015 allocation at MSRP that I'd need to wait for. I guess some people really are that impatient/ price insensitive. Personally even with the clean title there's no way, but it takes all types...

IF build stops December 2015 and there won't be anymore GT3s until the RS, that would be a reason.

Wednesday these cars were all over Autotrader. Check now and you will see a ton of MY14's "NEWLY LISTED" I only checked 3 VIN's but 2 were hits.
