Hope the above is enough "FACTS" for people. Heres another FACT. This car is a magic bus, a bloody good motor - infact the FACT it is the best road car Ive ever driven and I cant wait to get my *** back in the driver seat in about 10 days time when it has arrived....

Nick is correct. Dealers have been asked last week to upload ECU data of "Quarantined vehicles" to PAG along with mileage and any findings from a visual inspection of the engine (oil leaks to be precise). It would appear (warning = supposition) this may be a supplier/batch related QC issue.
you have invested much time and effort in support of the GT3 here,
which helps me to hold confidence to hang in ,as I believe this will be fixed
cars will be rolling and the smiles returning to those holding the wheel of a

Good idea. About time we had some relaxation during the down time....I have around 30 of these and watch them regularly in HD on my laptop when things around here get a bit crazy...
Sorry about the youtube quality - was in hotels using limited bandwidth when converting these...these were taken from 05-30 December (Europe Winter). MPSC2 worked fine. Car ran faultless for over 2000 miles being flogged on autobahn to back road...
This is the "infamous" one which refined the term "tapping out" when driving with your wife (see the last few seconds)...
Heres one were we try out the ESC. Well it wasnt planned so I got a botch slap but hey! ESC is benevolent until it seems slip angle is around 1 meter....note it was 5 C outside and roads were a bit slippery in places, however I suspect entry speed (100kmph) and steering wheel inclination may have been the prime cause here...
This was a nice little drive back from an alpine route in Italy...the GPS couldnt keep up with the corner speeds sometimes. This was part of a 5 minute clip that has some really nice roads and fast driving which my SD card decided to corrupt so lost now apart form this poor short clip on YT...
heres are a few on Route Napolean (N85 + D2) on the way back form a 5 hour drive up teh Alpes de maritimes. GT3 was flogged the whole 5 hours on this trip - didnt miss a beat? Design flaw???
Heres a longer one in the Alpes
If you want to seem more there are a few here...

Sam. My pleasure. I couldn't help watch them all over again this last 15 minutes and recommend it as a tonic for whenever you doubt. It seems like a dream now but that car got under my skin and 6 weeks separation plus this latest "stop sale" has tested my patience for sure. Im driving it off the RORO boat (no choice) and giving it the beans as soon as its warmed up so if you read of a third fire down under its just Macca "puttin some snags in the barbie"!

Enrique is generally a good guy and typically very helpful on the forums. Not sure why this thread bugged him so much. Must of been a bad day or something.

Macca is rubbin it in... ;-)
These cars are all about instant gratification, no?
I kid, I kid I'm sure it helps to keep up the hope that something good will come out of all this for those who have paid for but cant drive their GT3.
Even if I new my RS would catch on fire for sure an extended European Delivery trip alone would make it worth it!!

Gentlemen, I appreciate the kind words. As I stated earlier, information whether good, bad or unverifiable is still worth posting. Leave it to each individual to draw their own conclusions.
We are a community of car lovers. We become desperate for information when our beloved cars are taken away from us. This forum is a peaceful island in a sea of trouble. We should not allow our island sink into the raging sea.
Personally, I would like Macca and Mike to post more. As for Enrique, I totally understand where he is coming from. All I say is cut us some slack. Without our cars, we need communication regardless of its validity or source. I find solace in accessing this site and reading what others are hearing.
