What if you own a stable of great cars and neither need nor want Porsche's sub par loaner cars? Further what if you own your GT3 and therefore have neither a lease nor loan payments to be reimbursed? What then will Porsche offer?

Well. I wondered about that.... I was going to pay cash for my GT3. I didn't pay a deposit. I have no obligation. My car Basalt black is stuck in the port of Houston. I can walk away anytime no strings attached....but I can't

Wow, thats rare Tim. No pics? I guess we'll have ours soon. I washed and covered my 997.2 today. The Porsche indoor cover is so slick. You need to get one. It was more of therapy than the car needing a wash. All I need now is the bigger brother parked next to it.It be soon

b) I've no desire to sell the car back unless they tell me it's unfixable, which is an absurd proposition.
This is a different situation than taking a car in for service and getting a courtesy loaner for a few days, IMHO. I've been told not to drive my new car for an open ended period of time (3+ weeks so far) and with no real explanation. I expect only to be treated fairly, and believe/hope I will be.

Priceless. I bought it for my TT but been using it on my GT3. Love the PORSCHE logo in the back and how nicely it fits. Its fits the car like a glove

For the sake of all of us, I really, really hope that you guys in the US receive a proper communication today: this is what is wrong, this is what we're going to do about it and this is when you roughly can expect your car to be ready to (rock and) roll again. However, knowing that in the Middle East we only received our first official statement from PAG in 3 weeks just 2 days ago solely stating that there was no news to report, wouldn't that be stupid?
Bottom-line, they messed up either way. If they don't communicate in the US today, they haven't acted upon their own written commitment from last week and will lose Cayenne-loads of credibility with current and future owners. And if they do, their own message as aired 48 hours ago in the Middle East was an ever larger waste of space, time and bandwidth than it seemed to be and they won't be able to officially notify us here until after the weekend. They must have forgotten that forums like these make the world truly global?
