End of a slow day so time for a couple more speculative comments ... re: compensation.
Compensation will be in two forms: 1) good-will and 2) claimed and verified damages.
Good-will can include a loaner car, extended warranty coverage of "repairs and/or parts", complementary servicing for a period of time, and perhaps even a small cash outlay to accommodate the pain and suffering of this ordeal. Most of this is at PAG's discretion and direction to their world-wide marketing agents such as PCNA, who will then advise the respective dealers to consider the above on a case by case basis. Although most will be encouraged to accommodate the owner's of the GT3 some may balk and an appeal to PCNA would be warranted.
Damages will be based on hard data of actual loss and could include loan or lease payments made during the time period of non-use, non-reimbursed costs such as track days, etc may also qualify at PAG/PCNA's discretion. Loss of use compensation outside of verifiable actual damages will be hard to realize above the good-will level previously noted.
Just my speculative view; no high level contacts anywhere, no crystal ball, but it does seem as though PAG is serious about doing some reparations for their customers and to their image (they most certainly don't want the current GM scenario to be replayed with themselves in the starring role).

I spent an extra $400 on a double session at my shrinks today going over my forum posts on his lap top. He has downloaded the mobile app for further analysis and will have the diagnosis at next weeks consultation. He said, it did not look good.. -- but can offer a group rate..

In case others haven't read, GM knew of the fix way back then but only instructed dealers to replace it if the client asked. Cost of the "partial fix" as was described in the news? $1
No Corvette for me, ever; even if it had a million horsepower. Well, maybe then I would think about it. Um, nah, not really. I'm waiting for my $50K+ fix whenever it's ready.

Let me get this right. Tomorrow Porsche will send an email to let us know what they tell us on Monday? Makes sense. Wonder if Porsche hired Rob Ford.

Did the shrink first tell you to "shut up and drive", followed by "shut up and wait"?

Due respect, I honestly think you are wrong. Everyone from Porsche I've spoken to including a couple of personal sources indicate that compensation of some kind will be part of the deal. They can't bar you from driving a car you've paid for, for an extended amount of time, and not make it up to you somehow.
They gave you a brand new loaner so they made it up to you..what else do you expect?
If they offer to buy it back as an option, consider yourself lucky....
