The whole rear bumper cover is too busy and the lower black skirt section makes the rear look too high. Maybe it is less aggravating in the flesh. The effect is most pronounced on the white car, which is my color direction if I can't get PTS the way I want it.

Can a photoshop jockey take a shot at turning the lower skirt black plastic section from black to body color ? That may help the overall look and the otherwise high looking rear end. I think this could be done pretty simply in a real world application.

Thanks

I have ordered the white and I really don't like the vertical vents -
so I have decided to simply ignore them.

Maybe painting the black horizontal part might help.

I agree with you and this is why I will go with a black Rs this time. I made this with my mobile phone. Not high quality job of course but just to get an idea..

then if you have a look at this pic you can clearly get the different "perception" of the look between the white and black rear of these two RS.The black seems more connected to the ground of course.Just my feeling .

Good choice mate. Definitely makes the car look more homogenous and classier IMO. With the light colours far too many contrasting details...

I agree that it spoils the look of the car in white. They're white on the new GT3 R and much less noticeable.

Hi Macca
I know I know..I left a black car for another black car.. and I am not enthusiast to pay for a black color as a PTS, but what can I do? Porsche sometimes is worse than Ferrari ...in this area.
I have just to decide and confirm which black. Basalt Black, Carbon black and so on. We will see..

What about Grey-black from the .2 RS as something close to black - I think it looks great with black highlights, though much more common with red.

Ya think? Ferrari offers 26 color choices for the 488 GTB.

Porsche? For $200k you get four choices. Embarrassing.
