I'd ask to add option 888 and see if the computer takes it. The $4800 may have been before Porsche added it as a regular option rather than custom build.

Wow, wtf? I mean, I'm familiar with the normal PAG markup, but that's a bit absurd?

Is it some Porsche Exclusive option, and that's why? (True) custom Exclusive options aren't coded with 3 digits, though, so that's weird... Unless the UK gets a break, and we get the shaft in the US.

No. Just rumors right now. For now, there are no production starts scheduled beyond the end of December 2015. This doesn't mean they'll end MY2016 early, though, but for now it looks like that's the case.

Historically, PAG likes money, and is known for continuing production longer than initially claimed.

We'll have to wait until MY2018, probably, for the 991.2 GT3 RS.

The Door Pulls match the color of the Interior / Deviated Stitching (GT Silver if GT Silver, Lava Orange if Lava Orange).

Nope.

No Porsche Exclusive interior options are being made available. I've asked PCNA and PAG far too many times, they keep telling me no. Granted, if I owned three 918 Spyders, they might be more willing to accommodate me, so who knows.

The new RS has been designed with the LO in mind.

Any other configuration will offset at least one of the factors (whether internally or externally) and the whole compatibility is busted!

Then again, the LO is the parade!!

Checked with my dealer. 888 only available for cars that are not closed and for builds after September.

By the Porsche Prototype results at LeMans I would have to conclude that :

1. White is the fastest
2. Red is a runner-up
3. Black is last

We kid when some of us talk too much about the emotive character of colors in our Porsches! But Porsche is very mindful of colors, especially in their selection of liveries at LeMans:

I would stick with standard 'White'. PTS (especially 'Signal Green') is so overdone these days!

Congrats! I assume your build is now locked?

Are you stuck at V170 or back to V200? All 3 PTS builds at my dealer have been locked at V170 for the last few weeks. Apparently the Lava Orange 12 O'clock stripe is being added to the US configurator soon so trying to get it added to my build.

This baby was parked outside my hotel room a couple of minutes ago. There was a Mr Orange as well but I just saw it as it drove away.

One thing for sure: The car has presence.

And yes: The front wheel is black and rear wheel is not.

They told me the same on ED two years ago. It sounds like they are trying to use the mileage cap and outside date limits as a means to differentiate between a recreational pickup for a customer and somebody that is looking to avoid local taxes.

Agree with your other comments. Get quick delivery and flog it ASAP.
