I don't like Agate, but agreed on dark color even though in swamp *** Florida light colors better and also easier to keep clean. On the other hand I will condom the car anyway and with a dark color you don't see tire marks. Viola Metallic looks black, except for in the sun.. Barney Purple is the darkest color of the 4. In the end CUP white is the best color but I want something different this time. Automatic and screaming color will keep me from buying something stupid.

Its growing on me already but hard to tell what it will look like in Florida sunlight. Love the free silver wheels. Don't like the platinum or black wheels, so its got that going for it.

I'm worried that the purple car is unsellable once it needs to go, but that's what they said about the green back in 2007...

Strange that so few black sold, but I think it was the goofy orange accents. Just like the silver.

The new RS is so big and brass it can take any color. I think it be fine in a metallic Orange or Sapphire blue.

With Lava now, Orange is overused.
In 2007 Silver with black was my preferred color. Together with white and black, but by 2010 white and black looked old to me. Definitely over black wheels, but all the black makes it blend better on new RS

Now the white ones looks great on the new RS and there is no choice but black accents with the acres of black plastic all over the car. White car would look strange with silver wheels.

Hated the red crap on the 997.2RS.

The best looking 997.2RS I had what white with silver..

I'm now between Viola metallic or Voodoo blue with Silver wheels and a piant to match key to keep in form with the RS being the new Fiat.

No, don't be confused about this. .1 'RS Green' is still available as PTS. It's now simply called 'Green'. But same color code 2D8. So if you like 'RS Green' from the MY2007/2007 gt3 RS era, you can still order that exact color via PTS.



The current 'Signal Green' color approved for PTS is color code 22S (not shown below). There are also two other versions of it, color code W25 and color code 217. All of them would be slightly different than 'Green' or 2D8. 'Viper' is color code 225. That is slightly different than either 'Signal Green' (any of the three versions) or 'Green'. So caveat lector.



Yes, I believe that ultimately 'Ultraviolet' the most desirable & rare of the standard colors offered on the .1 991 gt3 RS! It is simply a gorgeous color (great with Yellow calipers PCCBs) and it will find its rightful place in the pantheon of great & historic Porsche colors sooner than later!
