There is no date on that chart. Do you know when the chart was made and when it runs through? I find those numbers hard to believe as my dealer alone had many more 6 speed 992 Tourings than 991’s .

You win the 992 is rarer and thus more collectible😂😂. Enjoy your car! And sorry you could care less about true sales.

Not really I think this is funny. Bottom line they are all great cars and we are all lucky to be able to own and enjoy them. If I truly was thinking about rarity etc. I would be looking at different cars. I like my car for the enjoyment it gives me and not how rare it is. And I still think the 991 is rarer than even a 6 speed 992😉 Do you know when that 992 chart was through?

Not on a track. I’m not saying that the 992 isn’t more advanced than a 991. Porsche pretty much always improves with each new model. If I didn’t already own my 991 I would have kept my 992. The 992 is an amazing car. I just preferred the 991 for many reasons. I understand the 992 is a better car on the track but for me that wasn’t a concern or consideration. I did find the 992 was a little jittery on rougher roads, less settled and much stiffer that the 991. From what I have read they have addressed those issues with the ST. I’m not the only one saying that it has been talked about on this forum and in many road tests comparing the 992 Touring to the ST.
It’s just like the 964 is a better car than the last 911. However I still prefer my 1988 911 that I bought new to the 964’s and 993’s. That doesnt mean the latter cars aren’t “better”, just my personal preference.

Hey now don’t go knocking the 993 only took me $60k more in improvements over 5 years to make my 993 one of the best around INMO. The transmission re-gear to RSR specs really transformed the car.

993 and for that matter 964’s are great cars! I just preferred the rawness of the G body 911’s. Just like the 992’s are great cars but I prefer the 991. I wish I could own them all!

So, unless they build 120+ more 6sp touring for MY2024 (very unlikely), the 992 will be rarer comparing apples to apples

The PDK Touring is rarest of them all haha

Pretty cool to see official internal Porsche docs though. Amazed there are only 823 Tourings through MY23. If Porsche didn’t control supply on the 992, I’d bet dollars to donuts there would be more touring than winged cars.

Those numbers have not held, Porsche increased production. Someone pulled 992 GT3 Touring vin's as of 12/2023 and this was the result: 1526 touring. 468 PTS touring. Almost 5,000 992 GT3's for NA so far.

Have you read post #9675? Maybe you weren’t correct after all. And the sales by my dealership is indicative of what I was saying whether you care or not.

Is that data posted anywhere? Just curious as I have my PTS 991 & interested to see the PTS scope on the 992.
