@onepunch, IMO, your car looks fantastic — both cool and classy — as is, without screaming “hey look at me” (as much as possible with a 3RS anyway). Count another vote for no stripe. Oh, and I think the platinum wheels are spot on with the LO WP!

Good to hear that. Bought from him when the website was up and was happy with everything.

Well after spending the past 9 or 10 months searching for a Miami Blue GT3RS but refusing to pay a $30k or $40k premium over the other colors, I went with Lava Orange instead. Has pretty much everything I wanted, with a cage and Dundon exhaust and under 10k miles. Not too bad for under $230k.......

@onepunch wow, i have been looking for a .2 wp 3rs too and i missed this one, very very good buy (i would have bought it if i saw it earlier)
I had made a deal for this car back in early January, but then the seller disclosed that he has consigned it to a small auction in Naples for early Feb, and could not pull it from the sale. So I went to the auction and was the high bidder, but the car no-saled, as his reserve price plus premium would have been higher than our previously agreed price. So several days after the sale we had another conversation, and I bought it for less than the previous agreed price. He still netted more than he would have if it hammered at my high bid, so ultimately everyone was happy.......

This should be an interesting test of the market...
Beautifully presented car...with some major issues
Aftermarket ducktail with documented hatch issues and no clear resolution.
E1 engine
Centerlock hub repair for unknown reasons
Rodent infestation (!)

[QUOTE=CubsFan1;19279597]I prefer the RS without the stickers but think it looks good with it as well. I know that was a part of the 991.2 RS package. And I know Porsche has a legacy of adding the big stickers. A LO WP RS if going to hold its own either way. 😉
I recall all the debate about LO when buying mine. There are too many, how does it appear in certain shades, etc. in 4 years of driving all over Seattle I never saw one. There was one in for an oil change at the dealer, but that’s it. Frankly, it’s funny to look back at that. IMHO, a color speaks to you or it doesn’t. Same goes for MB or GR, etc. I found it was perfectly suited for the car. Cheers!
I liked Lava Orange when I bought my 3RS. When I paint corrected it, cermaic coated it, and topped it, and now it has deep gloss, even better.
I've not seen another LO Orange yet. I have seen a Lizard Green 3RS, and a Silver One, no LO. Likewise, every time I stop for gas, people either ask about the color, or the spoiler.

Thanks. I wasnt really sure about LO because it was the most common color I think on the .1 cars. So I kind of dismissed it, especially since I had my heart set on Miami Blue. But seeing the LO with the contrast from the carbon in the Weissach pkg really made me take another look at LO.
I'm debating whether to add the side GT3RS decals or not. I think I want to, but if I do I'm pretty sure I will use the new design as I like the font better. I know the new ones are a little shorter because of the different fender, but I still like it better.....

Hmm, a latch defect. Does that mean it doesn't close? For what it's worth, as a "poor man's" Touring, it looks phenomenal.

991.2 GT3 Touring - Trade for a 992 GT3 Touring
Thinking about trading my newly acquired 991.2 GT3 touring for a 992 GT3 touring in a couple of months...wonder which will be the better investment.
