I believe the incident happened right after they sold it, but others here might know the story better.

This MB auction is going to be a hot mess, the comment section should be interesting to read to say the least. If not for the wreck, this car would be getting all the money.

exactly.....im the guy blowing up that listing with same screen name as here. He has misrepresented a vehicle or too before that i was watching. So im biased against him from previous experience. Any car salesman who says he didnt know about an accident is either sleazy, or incompetent. And I dont think he is incompetent. You can easily search that vin and see it was sold on rennlist awhile back. It's also been on obsessed garage youtube channel.

Me neither - particularly in older cars it's almost ubiquitous to see driver cars get a respray just to cover up all the chips. Panel alignment issues with a history of body repair is something different.

BAT is now censoring my comments after the seller posted a diplomatic response of his displeasure. He posted paint meter readings of a wrapped hood. I dont know what they prove if anything. So either his listing is correct, or this one is(which mentions hood damage). Anyone feel free to chime in here or on BAt and correct me if im wrong.

I commented. The bumper reinstall is not pristine, the gap looks kinda nasty. I tried to be diplomatic so the comment would stay up, but it's a legit question on this car.
