Subjective of course, but I much prefer non-WP with MB. And I've decided not to add the GT3 RS decals because the car already looks pretty rad in MB, and I think the decals take it too far. So I like my car just the way it is, even the black wheels (which I don't usually go for).

Agree, I think WP makes the car look too ricey imo. But some people are into that I guess.

Non-WP looks better in general. Only black or darker colors can make WP look somewhat decent. Painted WP would be the best option if offered

I see you edited the original post to say it was a 3RS. I originally read it to be a regular GT3.

3RS in MB at that price makes much more sense for sure

Interestingly, they permitted 991.2RS with the WP and the hood painted as an option, but not the roof.

Black wheels, friend of mine owned it since 2021 and traded in for his new 992 3RS. He purchased it from Porsche Fremont.

Yes, here's my racing yellow Weissach with hood painted and roof / wing exposed carbon. I feel it works well with the yellow and I think it's a good mix of exposed carbon and paint. This is 1 of 6 racing yellow Weissach's w/ a painted CF hood in the US.

Thanks, like you I was never a fan of black wheels, but I think they look great on the RS.

Beautiful. Racing Yellow is my favourite on RS. Unfortunately I couldn’t find one with WP.

Thanks for posting something different than a MB RS!!!

My pleasure, congrats on your RS, they are very special cars! I noticed that you are in Canada. I can see why it was hard for you to find one, racing yellow RS's are extremely rare in Canada. A little trivia - you probably know this, but from what I understand, there were only 5 racing yellow WP and 5 racing yellow non-WP delivered to Canada. 10 total yellow RS's to Canada and 46 to the USA, 33 WP and 13 non-WP.

To my eyes, racing yellow doesn’t work well for most Porsches, but with your RS, combined with the black wheels, yellow calipers, painted hood, carbon fiber elements, and decals, it looks perfect.

Thanks! And although it was refreshing to see someone post an RY car, I love my MB, it’s really grown on me. Given how popular MB seems to be in this thread, I’m sort of surprised more weren’t specced in MB.

I know four of the RY cars in Canada. In fact I should state for the record (and so folks don’t flood me with links to the car) that I did find one with WP, but it had a too much of a stripper spec and looked to me (I went to look at it in person) like it had some hard miles.

It's possible that colors go in and out of (and in) fashion, though, personally, my color preferences don't tend to change much over time.
