The 991 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...
#9226
Thanks, Manifold. I understand, it's tough to pull off yellow well and the "RS" seems to do it easier than many. And I agree that this combination of painted hood and black roof/wing/wheels, yellow PCCB all go together perfectly on the RY. Not sure what you will think of the interior, it's a lot, but I'm digging it!
Yes, it has the yellow deviating stitching throughout, yellow belts, yellow door pulls, yellow vent slats, etc. The original owner went a little crazy on the specs adding red gauges, too. When I first saw it, I thought that I would change the gauge faces to white and be done, but before I got to do it, the colorful interior started growing on me. I now totally enjoy the look and have no plans to change it. I use it mainly for spirited rally type drives and get togethers and the somewhat bold interior is very fitting for those occasions. When I want to be more stealth, I use the GT silver turbo. This is sort of my event car and when I take it out, all the special options add to the emotion of the drive.
I also added a 992 shifter w/ Alcantara boot and yellow stitching to change it up a bit from my 991 turbo S. It's obviously a very different experience regardless, but the interior shifter change further differentiates the look and feel.
Here's a few pics, I don't have too many, it made me realize that I need to get busy on the photography.

Wow! Thank you for sharing. Simply amazing. A real head turner for sure. Drive and enjoy in good health. Finally, a Spec done right.

Thanks. It is a pretty cool build. They are all nice, I like them all! Originally, I was sold on and going to go lizard green and when I went to see the green, this was beside it. I ended up going with the yellow. Very happy with the choice.

Well, thanks everyone for all the compliments! I didn't expect that, as most people don't really care for yellow. I had a speed Yellow 996 turbo for many years and I tired of seeing the yellow color shortly after delivery - it went in and out of favor with me over the years of ownership. But this one is different, the Racing Yellow is a little brighter, but mostly I think the GT3 RS just seems to wear it very well. I have not tired of driving or looking at this car, every time I see it, it just looks right to me and the driving experience...well you all know!

I'm not really a big yellow guy, would prefer a green but was shopping with 991.1 GT3 budget and the Signal Green cars for sale were too much. Ended up in a nice spec Racing Yellow car and I'm loving it! Would consider trading for a Lizard .2RS tho
For thread data, $132k in Aug '23 with 38k miles, original engine, LWBs/PCCBs/FAL.

I just checked MMR wholesale auction prices. Last 30 days it’s at $220k, that’s down from $230k 6 months ago and $252k from last year. Projection over the next 30 days is $225k at wholesale auction prices. So think of that as your starting point and factor retail margins on top of it.
