dumb question alert but what's the highlights of a touring? I'm assuming it's one looking for a driver's car without the attention since it looks so plain and looks like a regular Porsche?

I'm with everyone else, less supply of 991 Tourings, i don't know the 992 numbers offhand but i do know Porsche is pumping out 992 GT cars in general and lots of PTS. There are a very limited amount of 991 Tourings, my color for example is 1 of 3 known cars in the US. I plan to drive mine for a long time though, i'm not treating it like an investment.
I've driven a few 992's and am not a fan of all the tech and the freaking login to use the PCM.

Now if only someone had a Miami Blue 991.2 Weissach to sell me so I can replace my 458 with then that would be ideal.

You might be waiting a tad bit longer for a MB 3RS that isn't priced insanely high.

It's okay I have a 4RS and 458 for now but would sell the 458 to get a Miami Weissach 991.2 3RS. Has to be Miami + Weissach or its not worth settling.

These GT/RS models or most any other lux/exotic with few exceptions can't honestly be considered investments in the literal sense -- i think the generous description or more appropriate term might be "appreciable" for the low production desirable stuff with the rest (like my '16 RS) being perhaps noted as lesser 'depreciable" as compared to every man models. Consider that simple compounding of $250K in a mindless low/no risk financial product yields in excess of a half Mil in just 15 years. A little more risk in another brainless investment in the Dow index (with not near as much risk as driving your $250k vehicle in traffic) yields over $900k in the same 15 year period.

The point is drive what you enjoy and forget about any notion of it being an "investment" UNLESS you are talking to the wife about buying one of these--then by all means it is an INVESTMENT lol.

Good lord man, calm down, i didn't mean it in a literal sense. Just poking fun at the people who don't drive their cars.

scrolled through the last few pages and didn't see any mention of this one. Thinking of going back to a GT3 from my current 992 GTS

I have seen the car in person and other than the need of a really good interior detailing and replacement of the Alcantara on the wheel it appears to be pretty solid, and for a price that begs to be driven to a 100K miles!

Was this privately owned during the two years 24k in Vegas or an exotic rental? In one of the pics it looks like one of the front ceramic rotors is in rough shape. I would definitely pay to have a proper PPI done. Good luck. Love MB.

That car was driven hard and put away wet so the asking price is way too high. Someone will buy it anyway.

Slap on some Giro discs and call it a day. I have a near similar car (different seat belt color) with similar miles and I'm in love with the thing. I've never had a color as striking as Miami Blue, thumbs up and pictures all day long.
