I bought my 2016 991.1 GT3 in late 2019 for $120k and the msrp was around $160k. At the time, i was also looking at .2s and of course they were all lightly used given that they only came out in 2018. They were all well below MSRP. 170-180k msrp cars selling for 150-160k. Some even dropped into the 140s. Manuals slightly higher but still below msrp. Man do i regret not buying a .2 at the time was not a fan of the .1. Only manual 4.0 i can afford in this market is a 718 hah

Def remember .2 winged cars in the 140s/150s pre insanity. Also there was a UV .1RS that sold in the 120's or 130's, fun times...

Summer of 2020 definitely was not the bottom lol. 20k below MSRP on all 991.2 GT3's was pretty normal throughout most of 2019 and up through February 2020. And, what's funny is that you had guys/ rennlisters saying that there was room to go down more... too many made, not special enough, TTS was just as good, economy was going to tank any day.. blah, blah. Same message- different guy except now it's 2023 and not 2019 😂.

I recall this being about the bottom: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2018-porsche-gt3-23/

I was kicking myself for not buying that car as it was a spec I could have lived with and the price was as low as I ever saw on a .2.

To be honest, even today, that car probably wouldn't sell for much more.

I paid 165K for my .2 Lizard with decent options in 2020. Sold for 210K after putting 12k miles on it in 2022. FUN TIMES!!

Any sled is worth as much as what the last person paid and the next person willing to pay. Anything else in between is nothing but a wet dream hope and a waste of breath.

“much more” is relative. That same car with similar mileage would sell for $40k+ more. I guess that might not be much more to you.

I guess I was only thinking it would sell for just $15 - $20K more lol. But maybe values went up a bit more compared to a few months ago when some GT3s sold for only $150k

A few months ago? .1 GT3's yes. Not .2's unless they had 25k+ miles.

1100 mile 2018 with manual for 131k? It would sell for a lot more.
