My reason to buy a Touring would be that it has exactly all the abilities of the winged car, but it doesn't have "big ***" wing (I have a 981 GT4 for that) when you decide to take it out anywhere besides the track..
For me, FAL, buckets, PCCB are a must in a GT3 regardless of winged or not.....
In my opinion the T is a dual function car, could be used for mondane reasons or as a track weapon.......
Your views may different and that is OK......

I didn’t fully appreciate how much the LWBS adds to the character of the car and the extra feedback / driving position you get out of them. I’ve done multiple 12+Hr days, did 3k miles on Euro Delivery in 2 weeks, drove from NYC to Niagara Falls for a weekend, and never had an ounce of pain.

I had Sofas before and the buckets are comfier to me, they feel like I’m being cradled. I don’t think I could do a GT car without buckets, or I’d look to swap them in.

However we’re all different and my wife hates them so there you have it ha.

Whatever man. I joined RL when you were still in diapers, so have some respect for your elders and stop digging yourself deeper in a hole......
It didn’t hit a nerve at all. I’m just old school and mileage is a badge of honor in the Porsche world. And I didn’t mean to insult you or Ferrari owners. My son owns one but he drives it and isn’t concerned with how many miles are on it. And unfortunately I’m probably as old as you or maybe even older. I got my first Porsche in 1980, and have owned one in particular for 35 years. Maybe you are a Ferrari owner and I’m the one who hit a nerve. My premise was that mileage shouldn’t scare you away from a Touring or any car for that matter. It’s condition that should considered when purchasing a car. If I misinterpreted your post I apologize. I read it as saying you wouldn’t consider a Touring with 29k miles regardless of price.
I see you joined Rennlist in 2006. I wish I was still in diapers then. As I said above I was already a Porsche owner for 26 years by then.

The last line is the problem I have - no one wants to get in my RS because of the seats. If I’m buying a second GT car, already have an RS with buckets, maybe touring with sofa is a better choice for me.

You must not be using my patented left hand door sill, right hand center console hoist & swing method. It's like a beautiful choreography.

Seat angle adjusters on the buckets made them more comfortable on long drives for me, but still not like an adjustable sport seat.

My buddy just bought a 2019 3RS WP with 5k miles this week, price was 235k from a reputable dealer with CPO. A good MSRP of high 230's so he literally paid MSRP on this.

Some folks still asking more for a non WP car with more miles including some listed in the classifieds. Dealers are sitting on inventory and willing to negotiate in places, this particular car was listed a while back for 270k. Dealer was upfront with him and showed they paid 232k at the start of the year for it and wanted to move inventory.

I have seemed to find the opposite, offer up a trade and they are low-balling those worse than ever and seem to have no desire to negotiate or make an attempt beyond the first pass at the deal. I have loosely looked at things like outlined above, and would like to do via a dealer but it appears most have little to no motivation to work through things.

Here’s an interesting 991.2 Touring.

This has been my experience as well. The trade-in offers have been terrible. Most dealer retail prices have not yet adjusted given they likely have too much equity in current inventory. Patience... although with so many other people waiting on the sidelines, makes me wonder really how low can prices go...

Cars are still moving, this one is a 991.2 3RS WP with Mag wheels listed for 249k, probably one of the best priced ones in the country. I offered them 235k and they refused to come off 249k and now it's sold: https://www.hubbardautocenter.com/de...8ks165801.html

Yep, prices aren't dropping as much as some would hope. It is what it is.. who knows where prices will end up. Drive and enjoy.

They are asking 85k over MSRP. It’s actually a Black car that they wrapped in Blue. I would want to see what’s under the wrap.

Interestingly, the car was fully PPF wrapped from new, and the vinyl wrap put on top of the PPF. That’s the correct way of doing a wrap. I like what they did with the interior, which matching rear seat and deck lid covers to the seat inserts. I would be interested at $20 K less.

If you are interested call them and make the offer. It’s a good offer and I think they would be crazy not to accept it. You have nothing to lose by trying.
